The benefit of weed being legal is that it can't be used as a pretense to violate all of your other rights. Otherwise it doesn't matter because you can get it anywhere and you don't even get in real trouble if you are caught with it.

What happens is that they attempt to take your children, or search your entire home, or take your driver's license, or whatever. So it removes a major excuse they use to run roughshod over the population.

I've personally had my car ransacked because I'm in a small town and they knew my brother was into drugs. So the cop pulls me over for a taillight, calls his buddy, he runs a dog around the car and lies about it signaling drugs. They ransack my car for half an hour with me detained, finding nothing, because I had nothing. All the while I was telling them off because I knew I was clean. But if I were in Chicago they'd have just dropped some drugs in the car and arrested me.

You need 3/4 of states to agree on an amendment. Most would not benefit from removing the electoral college.

Eliminating the president's ability to pardon himself is fine.

It's basically being done so there's no more repeats of HER TURN. After all, it's easier to sway the braindead public than adhere to valid legal procedures.

Very. It's not completely airtight (see the 2nd Amendment, hughes amendment, NFA, etc.) But it generally has safeguards to prevent subversion. It's biggest weakness is it's a just a bit too vaguely worded in places allowing for some stupid legal loopholes. Also late 1700s English and modern English are almost separate dialects at this point so liberals use that as a weapon.
