I've been to Lebanon before, and while they do love their money and materialism (more than almost anyone else), they are pretty lazy compared to Europeans.

They'll cut corners and take breaks whenever possible, like most Meds. They're definitely a higher class (more intelligent) than Gulf Arabs though. Not far from Greeks.

Is a decent English speaking guide difficult to find? Would it be expensive? I only want to spend 2-3 days. See Baalbek, Beqaa, and spend a night out in Beirut and meet some real Lebanese people and eat some food. I don’t want trudge through the typical tourist itinerary I guess.
