Turns out there’s another group in America with similar fertility rates to the Amish. Haredi Jews- they had a population even higher than the Amish at 360,000 in 2000 rising to 468,000 in 2006. That means they double every 20 years also. They may even have the fertility rate slightly higher than the Amish. This has thrown up massive questions, judging by projections their should be 750,000 Haredi Jews as of 2018.
