Have you considered that if in an arbitrary genetic range of 0 to 100 units where each race is at least 20 units apart the preference for difference you're speaking of is more of a 2-5 units away rather than 20+ units of race to race difference?

An issue with that theory is that some races inherently have less genetic integrity than others. And that lack of integrity isn't fixed by outbreeding. So all certain races mixing with certain others races does is create an offspring that inherits all of the negative genetic outcomes and conditions due to the selection pressure not being applied to kill off the defective outcomes.
