You implement a Progressive tax system which affects capital gains as well, you raise taxes to be higher, you remove loopholes for allowing tax evasion (if you send your money to the Caymen islands you go to Prison). And you cut back on the Military spending. Now stop repeating Ted Cruz level shit.

The current healthcare system is designed to please donors from insurance and pharma companies. No policy that might actually benefit us will not be implemented, because donors will just buy off Congress.
More debt exists than money supply. Our currency is loaned into existence with interest by a private entity. We can't pay it off by tightening our belts. The only way to fix it is to liquidate the Fed.
That said, we still shouldn't pay for ungrateful shitholers' healthcare.

And American health care costs are double per capita than other industrialized nation’s universal health care systems. Adopting a single payer universal care system would save 500 billion a year, every year ... simply by eliminating bureaucratic paperwork, profit gouging, etc. You could balance the budget instantly and eliminate the national debt in a generation.

Of course some ignored trips here but yes they expire ten years after the implementation of the tax bill (meaning if you make under 80k or so a year you're tax cut as a sunset provision to end up raising you're taxes).

The National debt is here to stay, so it is not about elimination of it (there is still debt from the American Revolution) but not adding too much more to it.

I heard in Europe Co-pays are alot cheaper (it was reported that some group only pays 10 dollars as a co-pay for a Doctors visit compared to America where it can be higher.

Which is not an argument for lowering taxes on Bill Gates and increasing them is still a good idea so have a Progressive tax system. Of course not all the tax revenue will come from the really rich but the amount extra in taxes would be lower compared to the Healthcare bills (imagine paying 50 dollars a month in extra taxes to remove an 100 dollar Insurance payment for example).
And I don't disagree. There might be need to raise taxes on the rich. I havn't spent enough time studying that to determine if it's viable, but we don't have nearly enough money for universal healthcare regardless of how you tax people.

Yeah. Mixed systems work too. The point is universal coverage ... the universal insurance pool spreads risk, and economy of scale increases purchasing power. Lots of counties have a universal minimum standards of care (annual checkups, all emergency basic and critical care), but you have to pay for, say, cosmetic care or private rooms (and optional private insurance steps if you want that coverage). Our system is the worst of all worlds. There hundred of millions of dollars just to be saved if people got preventative, annual checkups ... fix shit before they get sick ... Instead of waiting until an emergency. And that’s not counting the wider economic costs to businesses that then have sicker workers...
