That's the most basic way to interpret the film, but that's not how I see it. The German propaganda film, "Pride of a Nation" mirrors the movie itself. The massacre at the end is haunting and the way the jews treat the Germans early in the film is over the top in it's savagery. The jews ask the German if he got his medal for killing Jews and he replys, "for bravery" right after he refuses to betray his own men, accepting his death with courage.

I will give you that. Movie was a complete Jewish wankfest, but the only decent people in that movie were nazis. Sort of. I actually watched the movie on 70mm in Tarentino's own theater, The New Beverly, in Hollywood. It was after Trump's victory and so the whole 'punch a nazi' thing was in full effect at the time. (((People))) in the theatre were clapping and cheering when Nazi's died on screen and it was impossible for me to not notice how that paralleled the Nazi's in the film cheering when the German sniper killed Americans. If the movie isnt pro-nazi, it's at least displaying the moral relativism of American propaganda.
