Richard Spencer shows up anywhere any provoking ideas begin to develop in order to associate those ideas with Nazis (the inherent villains of western creation mythos) and immediately tarnish any new independent thought that promotes anything alternative to debt slavery. I think it's perfectly reasonable and indeed necessary for there to be both open and covert activists. There must be resilient public figures who sacrifice the possibility of a normal life (e.g., Spencer) as well as regular private individuals. We are a fragmented movement, and in fact, the fragmentation of white society is exactly the core issue. Therefore, it's essential that we have figures willing to be out in the open and suffer all manner of insults and injury.

From what I've heard/seen he's pro-white from top to bottom of the economic and achievement scale, and he's always been that way.
