Western culture is very similar to many other cultures the world over if you gloss over everything else. Like apple is a fruit as with oranges. But you had to remember, Europe did the colonizing, they had technological advantage over every other major culture group for 300 plus years. They were a group that if unified controlled 4/5 of the world around 1800s. And they also came up with institutions and sciences that built the very firmaments of society and technology. Marxism is good stuff if we could ever keep it out of the hands of plutocrats. But it has ALWAYS been seized by the ruling class and used to subjugate the people it's supposed to free.
