1. Christianity says the Jews need to be in Israel for the second coming of Jesus. So, by supporting Israel, you are signalling to the evangelical base that you're doing god's work.
2. "Fuck Islam!" Israel has been cucking the muslims since its creation, so by supporting Israel, it's an indirect way of giving the finger to the muslims.
3. "I'm not racist. See, I support Israel. A racist wouldn't do that. Would he?" It's kind of a virtue signal to ward off anyone calling you a racist, I guess?
4. Israel's governing party, Likud, is a far right party, so that might be in the mix too.
I think the answer is a mixture of these things, but let me know if you guys have other theories.
