It seems for a hundred years the Holy Church and Western Civilization has secularized and has grown dark. Perhaps the Lamp of God has gone out. There is an absence of Holy Spirit. God's wisdom, replaced with man's knowledge and understanding. Does not Pope Francis epitomize this? But perhaps the Church's end also signifies rebirth, a new beginning.
