>According to a new report by Russia’s state statistical agency, Rosstat, 35 million Russians live in houses or apartments without indoor toilets, 47 million do not have hot water, 29 million don’t have any running water inside their residences, and 22 million do not have central heating >In fact, only 62.7 percent of the Russian population has the usual accoutrements of modern existence – water in the house, plumbing, heating and gas or electric ranges, Rosstat says, a fact that must seem incredible to those who visit only Moscow or St. Petersburg but a fact of life for those who lives beyond the ring roads of the capitals. >Russian blogger Oleg Borovsky says that the image many have of Russia as one unified country is wrong.
>those left behind are “alcoholics, invalids, and pensioners,” he suggests. >That has important national security implications, Borovsky continues. If someone attacked Russia now, “then in a number of places there wouldn’t be anyone left to defend or even organize a partisan war.” And many who are in these places would “welcome the invaders with flowers and embraces – or at a minimum, remain indifferent.” >Russia is emptying out, while Moscow is growing like a tumor, a trend that is leading to the disintegration of the country. In fact, he argues, “the disintegration of Rsusia is “ALREADY going on. It is a fact” with the country divided into four parts: the metropolitan center (Moscow), the provinces (Moscow oblast), the periphery (oblasts adjoining Moscow oblast), and “the colonies – the entire country beyond that.
No denying Russia is a shithole. But once Putin leaves Russia will have a renaissance. They're very smart and innovative. They'll make a quick turnaround once they abandon the police state/military rule. That they've had for at least a 1000 years now.

We had another of these false flag apartment building bombings on the New Years in Magnitogorsk, you know. Half of the big fucking building collapsed. On the same day a van was shoot at and blown up by people armed with assault rifles (police?...) Really interesting, huh... State owned TV says it was a "gas explosion" in both cases... Funniest thing is that one of the witnesses who happened to live there on the 10th floor of the collapsed building went to check on his car like 10 minutes before the explosion and there was no smell of gas (the odorant that is always used to smell the leak) Hilarious t b h and nobody even cares about it and neither did I until a couple of days ago

>went to check on his car like 10 minutes before the explosion he used the stairs btw, not the elevator

Orthodoxy (as in religion) of the brain. Not sure how to translate it in eloquent fashion.

Old fashioned attempt to divert attention from increasing VAT law, higher retirement age law, maybe even the apparently failed waste recycling reform aka the "trash reform" as they call it themselves lmao Generally standard of living is falling, ruble exchange rate is going down and prices for everything, including fuel, rise and everyone, including the boomers start to get disillusioned with Putin's, okay, I'll say it, regime.

People generally don't move out of parent's houses/apartments until they reliably secure their own.

There’s a massive food crisis. This is what average Russians have to eat.
Don't forget a lot of it is because of economic sanctions as well. I hope things will get better soon in Russia/Belarus/Ukraine, you motherfuckers definitely deserve it.
