SHA256 is not an algorithm, its an encryption method. If you understood anything about it, you would know its near impossible to crack with conventional computing methods, reguardless of who you are or how much of it you are responsible for creating. Funny enough, anyone with a powerful quantum computer could make mincemeat of SHA256 encryption and essentially print bitcoin with the right program, but there are not many quantum computers in the world, and even fewer people who know how to program them for such a task. To be clear I am not advocating for cryptocurrency. I think it was a good idea, but a very poor investment at this point.
