I can’t believe I fell for the Trump meme. His callous and irresponsible actions in regards to the government shutdown has put countless government workers and their families through completely unnecessary hardship. Nobody should have their livelihood taken away by partisan politics. The way in which he has shown no compassion for his actions and continues to obstruct the workings of the government has completely changed my view of him. I will be voting a straight democratic ticket in 2020 and many fellow Trump supporters I have spoken with about this feel the same. Perhaps I cannot completely undo the damage that I have helped cause by voting this man into office but I feel this will be a step in the right direction. Who here feels the same?
