If someone calls the police and say a person has hit him, and he has a friend who saw it.. how can police know anything?? becuase what if the person hit himself and has a false witness???

Eye witness is what the police and a court would use as the highest form of evidence. In reality its the most unreliable and unscientific way to prove something.

Evidence like CCTV and phone surveillance is usually not dismissed. But a witness has more influence in the court than anything else.

I dont know. Punching isnt really a priority for cops. Usually they just separate the people who has been in a fight. If you report it as assault I guess you can make a fuzz. But they are cops, most likely the people who are lying will start to feel the pressure and reveal themselves.

I thought about it. What the fuck is even the point of one boots of speed? It just makes one character fly across the map and get fucked while the party is still trying to catch up.
