Looking at used cars I'm noticed that decade-old hybrids, which used to be going for about 8k-9k a couple months ago, are now dropping down to around 6k. I wonder if the falling price of gas is causing demand for used hybrids to fall, and thus so is the price.

I bought a new civic hybrid in 2013. There was actually a rebate at the time so the hybrid wasn’t any more expensive than the regular. In the past five years they stopped making the hybrid civic because the regular civic gets pretty much the same mileage as the hybrid was getting due to advances in the engine. Hybrids are probably going to disappear
