Do nursing instead

This

Accounting will continue to be automated out. Jobs that won't be automated out. Medical jobs can't be automated, nor can most software and engineering work. Ironically, repair work can't be automated. Jobs that can't be automated require a degree of creativity and the ability to learn on the go. The average pay for an accountant is 50k per year, try for a degree worth your time.

>accounting
they won't care because you won't have the experience to be hired in those positions anyway lmao

Many types of physicians can be automated

>Medical jobs can't be automated, nor can most software and engineering work. Ironically, repair work can't be automated.
>I've never heard of AI
Everything will become automated.

why are you asking pol?
is this some kind of weak anti-trade shill post?

Yeah desu I don't think people want to get their physical from a robot, or to have robo nurses. Doctors will continue to use increasingly sophisticated instruments for diagnostics and surgery, but the doctors and nurses will still always be there.

Why was 'desu' added to my post...?

Dude, most doctors just listen to symptoms and diagnose. AI can do that. Sure, dermatologists, surgeons, and other procedural based specialists will be ok, but they are the minority. Not to mention the threat of midlevel providers

Can’t say t b h newbie

And these days, a lot of engineering and software work is automated, but it'll never be the case that no doctor is used at all. It may be like with law, where automation tools give a few doctors a greater sharehold of the patients, but we have a shortage of doctors in the US as it is anyways.Oh yeah, and don't try for law school track, total bust

desu that's bs

*tools give a few LAWYERS...

Nobody cares, also take classes in the winter and summer. Make sure to do an internship or two, preferably paid. Also
>bachelors in accounting
You need at least 150 credits for the CPA, so you don't really need to focus entirely on accounting.

People only care about age when hiring if it's a minimum wage retail position, or you're too old for growth within the company.

It's part of why women are retarded for not having a family first and a career/travel/dicking later.

.

Filipinas are cheaper than robots

lmao so that's not automation, that's a labor demand being satisfied by immigration. There's the same pressure by Indians coming to the US to do tech jobs, but the wages in tech are still high (I can tell you for a fact). lol I want a physical from a filipina ;D

thats what i was planning on doing seems like i can get it done relatively quick if i hustle maybe i can get a 4 year in 2?
i hate working with the general public, i thought about that because of pay and job outlook but i will surely blow my brains out wiping shit up all day (source: neighbor is a nurse, says its all she does)
i just figured it would be a good foot in the door with any company worth working for, its business related but more focused than business management or something
its not, i just do not want to go on like this. im suicidal. who knows if my familys shop will be around forever. i would at least like a backup plan

Welp, at least you're not going for an English degree :'D. Still, go to a job board, you'll see that most accountants make chump change. Try a web development bootcamp, and the salaries for those guys. Sounds like you could also try to become like, an electrician/plumbing apprentice. Electricians in rural areas can make bank.

lol I don't know how you think businesses work, but a 'foot in the door' in my experience is not that simple.

yeah i cant imagine going to a uni for something that you know has 0 job outlook. due to my family's business i have a lot of connections to larger automotive related businesses, tire distributors, and even some tire manufacturers

>Wiping shit
Don’t be a nursing assistant

Nonsense. The primary function of an accountant is to act as a buffer between you and the IRS. That's not going to be automated any time soon.

my main problem with trades is that i do not want to be working heavily with the general public, i know happiness is a meme but i really feel like if i continue down a path where thats my main job duty ill be dead before im 30

The entire field won’t get automated, but many jobs will. This will in turn put more competition in a limited number of jobs

There's no work in accounting. Don't do it. It's like getting a liberal arts degree.

lmao a business or individual can do its taxes with TurboTax, I've worked on things like factory production accounting, and payroll is also automatable. There will always be accountants of one kind or another, but at the end of the day accountants move numbers around, and that's a computers expertise.

I JUST WANT TO OWN A HOUSE AND HAVE STEADY INCOME, MAYBE A PROJECT CAR

my dad has a CPA for our business who "helps" us when it comes to IRS and things he makes a lot of money

Yeah, and some lawyers make a lot of money too, if you can get established as one. A lot of people don't get to that point though. Lol the difference between a CPA and turbotax is that a CPA helps with planning, but other than that, it's likely that a computer program is just as good, and bad CPAs have been known to embezzle from their clients. I'm sure you can find work in accounting, but tech and medicine are much more reliable, high paying work over the course of a career.

i will take that into account, maybe i can do something else down the road but right now im kinda invested in finishing this :/

Finishing things is the important part! And besides, once you have the piece of paper, you can teach yourself skills to branch into different careers.

thanks friend i appreciate the support :)

Why would you want anything more than to work on cars?
>be me
>be 27
>always working on cars
>never happier than when turning wrenches
>make fast racecars all day
>earn over 90k a year
>always have cool cars in the garage
>always get compliments in town
I am living the happiest life that I possibly can, why aren’t you?
