We need video cameras that sign each frame with a checksum based on the frames color content and its location in the timeline. This guards against making modifications to frames, or uaing fast/slow motion to modify the appearance of things. In OPs post slow motion was used.
As long as the original records from something have a permanent checksum, then all that is needed for the public to verify they have the original evidence, is the original checksum. Hardware could be build into video cameras to handle this in such a way that is very difficult to fake as well. Even if faked, the fake version would need to get widespread *first*. But if theres real high quality signing, even that would show signs of tampering.
WE NEED RECORDING HARDWARE THAT APPLIES HASHED CHECKSUM SIGNATURES WHILE RECORDING.
