So when we factor in negative possible outcomes, such as the boy growing up and wishing he was uncircumcised, botched circumcisions resulting in skin bridges or sexual dysfunction, or in some cases even death; the question is begged: why have the operation during infancy at all?
Why not wait until the boy is sexually mature and bring up the topic then? Why make the decision for the boy when he is a day old? Isn't being born a stressful enough experience? Why cause the baby further discomfort?
