Do any boomers here have recommendations for a zoomer canadacuck on what to do with his life?
I'm in uni and working a part time job but I have no idea what to major in. I know I want to earn a lot of money and being financially secure is something I want to have.
Btw business sucks at my school and is pretty much only good for STEM
Don't major in stupid shit Don't take out loans for anything besides a house, and never accept the maximum loan you're qualified for. Also take significantly less. Learn to love minimalism
Luis Robinson
do STEM, specifically T/E. Or medicine, if that floats your boat.
Regardless, something practical. and get and do internships. the networking you can do while at uni is the greatest thing for you to get your career off to a good start (ive partnered with my uni department/old professors to get interns for the company I worked at, so for real don't be lazy and talk with your career center to get leads for those things)

major in computer science and do coding. it's fun as hell
I'm working on it right now. I have a business degree and I wend back to a community college to learn programming. I know lots of people that have no degree and they have jobs as coders so I think as long as you know what your're doing you are good. I'm interviewing for internships right now

I’d reccomend never venturing outside of mainstream social media.

Get off Jow Forums. That's the best advice you'll find here. This place is for trolling, jokes, watching corporate propaganda at it's roots. Nothing here should be taken seriously. Nothing of value is to be gained here. This is Jow Forums. Not some place looking out for your interest.
Hudson Green
Socialize in Uni, it will be much harder after
Lift, you can make so much gains now
Don't major in meme studies
If you do business major, don't beleive in globalist lies that they teach you.
I think there are three good paths in Canada when it comes to work : work in healthcare, work for government or work for yourself.
From what I see b.com is particulary unfair. You have a ton of advantage if your family has a business. Buinsess is all about connections and not formal education.
Get in real estate (unless you're in Toronto/Vancouver) before doing those cookie cutter " I want to discover the world trips". You don't need to go across the world and ruin yourself to fuck some whores, be honest.
Generally unless you come from a rich background you will need to sacrifice some of your time to build some welath and be comfortable in your late 20s early 30s.
Avoid weed, don't get tattoos.
Don't get married. Our socialist state provides enough for the child even if ur not married.
Finish any degree and then get your commercial pilot's license. What city are you in OP?

Research well-paying degrees and see if one of them appeals to you.
ALWAYS make sure there is a market.

unless you are in cs/engineering/math with good coop placements, you degree is going to be a useless piece of shit
Gavin King
I majored in Information Systems, which is like business analysis (not programming). If I could go back I would major in computer science and be a programmer. Also check out SAP, if you can get yourself a position in SAP programming (hardly any competition, they need people) you can be making like $60-80k after graduating.
I'm a project manager, 1 year out of university. I'm applying for business analysis positions right now, considering learning programming so I can move into more of a developer position.
If programming is not your thing, do mechanical engineering or computer engineering, or anything engineering.

There are these modular small homes for workers that are literally modified containers to fit on a truck. It's being used in the winter and summer when they are doing road work in the middle of nowhere.
Buddy, 'knowing how to code' is a TINY fraction of programming an Application as a whole. You need to know Frameworks(multiple), databases, architecture methodologies, AGILE, all this 'Enterprise level' bs now to get into a corporate IT team. There is a reason why programmers are fat and bald or skinny and gay. The shit will wreck your mind.
Ian Roberts
Do something useful like mechanical engineering and take interesting humanities courses on the side of you can.
John Ortiz
holy fuck nice deets, based gypsy poster posting about his life style
The mistake I made in when I left highschool was to be overly idealistic and intellectual. This led me to waste time getting advanced degrees in the social sciences and trying to become an academic. This journey destroyed my personality and made me depressed and crazy. It is unnatural to sit in front of a computer all day performing mental tasks.
Only when I swallowed my pride and began working outdoors in blue collar jobs did I begin to feel happy and stable again.
The higher you climb up society's ladder, the harder society works to control your behaviour. It is paradoxical - all the things your boomer parents want you to be - a lawyer, a university professor, a medical doctor, etc. - that give you high social status and a large income, are the most likely to destroy your mental health and make you unbalanced. They make you feel like you have this huge weight on your shoulders and you never feel free. The guys who feel free and happy are tradesmen contractors who work for themselves and don't give a rats ass that being a plumber doesn't sound impressive.
TLDR: learn a trade. Skimp and save. Start your own business.
learn stem and apply it to your life, "if, (((well ))) then." Or you could not get a college degree and just be a real azz nigga open up your business.

>I'm in uni and working a part time job but I have no idea what to major in. I know I want to earn a lot of money and being financially secure is something I want to have.
>i want to spend years of my life earning functionally worthless fiat
The entire economic system is a joke used to enslave you. Your land rights won't mean anything and your fiat won't mean anything either eventually. It doesn't actually have any worth. When enough third world subhumans flood your country, you're going to become Venezuela and your money will be worthless and your land won't belong to you anymore.
There are three major things that are useful in life, of value that doesn't go away or be dependent on others and arbitrary materialism:
Family Personal Improvement (both physical and mental) Building a strong connection with loyal people.
Everything else is a waste of time or subordinate to those tasks. Don't fall for the materialism meme.
>hey ladies, if I buy u a drank can you not wear high heels.

This is wrong. Will concede on the knowing a lot of tools and systems but if your not a Brainlet it'll become second nature and won't be problem after you learn it

this, whatever financial success you have make sure it's only to further those three

Pickup some books on networking skills. Learn to market yourself and a product. No matter you profession most of the successful people will attend conferences, mingle, and socialize their way to the top. It's the most rewarding way to live. Also start a Christmas card list so every year someone you want to keep close for professional reasons or otherwise will never forget you.
Once you have experience meeting people and getting the flood of opportunities that comes with this, travel. Use those same skills to make your network expand into every province and then whichever states in the US appeal to you. From there pick a country that is related in a way to your field, or, just for fun - but go.
Don't fuck anyone who doesn't respect themselves enough to know if they are carrying an infection, ever. Don't commit to anyone until you understand how they treat their long term friends.
Don't take any bullshit from anyone. Learn how to say no. Most people are travelling in their own personal struggle and aren't thinking about you.
Elijah Carter
dont forget to lift, stay in shape, no matter what you decided to do with your life. there's much glory to be had for a man who works, especially on himself, separate yourself from the rest of the herd, be a strong man, be strong for when we need you, be strong for when your country needs you, be strong for when your family needs you.
Gavin Myers
>Don't major in stupid shit
This. I would say learn a trade but if you do go to college make sure your degree is something actually useful and preferably in demand.

If you go for a degree, get an internship while you're still in school. Degree is nice, but experience makes all the difference, and it will set you apart from others.
Leo Baker
Literally just fix your fucking M I N D S E T and do some sort of engineering you fuckin PUSSY
a small can of tuna (200 grams) where I am is 30 g of protein and a (250 mL) glass of milk is 8 grams of protein. so maybe drink a few more glasses of milk.
also eating too much canned tuna can be bad for you as it may have increased levels of mercury. it is best to try and mix up your protein sources if you can. or protein supplements can also be good.
John Ortiz
Punch jews. It's fun and satisfying and if you apologise and tell them you thought they were white and that you're a jew you can get away with it. Also they then give you hot insider information on how to make money.
