That's the average temperature, faggot. If one day the temperature was 50C and then the next day it was -50C the average will be 0. That's how averages work
It's incorrect to call it global warming. It's climate change. Summers are significantly hotter. Winters are significantly colder.

Melting of the Siberian permafrost is a massive issue as well. Firstly because it's full of methane which is an even worse greenhouse gas than CO2. Secondly, because the permafrost if full of lead. If the average temperature would just rise by 2C it wouldn't be that much of an issue for humans and their bodies. But the problem is it will affect a lot of things. Earth and all it's (eco)systems have finely tuned to the conditions that were here over the span of millions of years. All of a sudden as one thing changes all other things will change as well

Because we talk about AVERAGE temperature. One or two degrees less might mean no summer at all and no harvest. This already happened centuries ago and it was not fun.

A warmer climate sounds nice at first, but a warmer summer means drought and forest fires. On the long run glaciers are melting and coastal areas will be flooded and tropical diseases moving north.

Technically we are still in an ice age because there are ice caps on both poles. One of the main reasons fore ice ages is continental drift. E.g. if there is an continent on one of the poles an huge ice shield can build up there. Especially if this continent is isolated and surrounded by an ocean. If this continent is drifting away millions of years later there will be only an thin fragile seasonal layer of ice on the ocean. But this would take more then a 100 million years.
