This is one of the first times in American history where almost anybody can see themselves in a current, sitting member of Congress, and I think that is a fundamental threat to the GOP.
>The Post: Why would they see you personally as a threat?
>Ocasio-Cortez: Because I fight back. I don’t know what they say, but I think they are attracted to conflict. They need a foil. I don’t think they see that they’re losing the war. They’re making all these battles, but they’re losing the war. Because they’re playing old-school politics, like, “Oh, I’m sorry, you think that faking a nude photo is going to take a woman down in 2019? Think again, brother.”
Candidate worship is bad no matter what. The left fell for Obama. The right is falling for Trump. I hope we all wake up to the fact that these kind of politics don’t serve the nation.
Liam Ortiz
Meh. Obama was a corporate warmonger. Trump is a mostly antiwar populist. Cortez is also populist, but in the other direction, at least fiscally. It's DC's fault for constantly playing divide and conquer in order to push its shitty agendas on the public. This is the ultimate result of that.
Camden Ortiz
Trumps solution to war is remove troops-> replace with mercs. Obama tried the same shit. Also Trump has increased drone strikes by 400%.
Christopher Morales
She's actually sort of right, if we mean the mainstream Republican Party. How many people today consider themselves "Paul Ryan Republicans"? Trumpism has some popularity, but regular Chamber of Commerce corporate cocksucking "conservatism" has taken a massive hit in recent years. Think of how much McCain and Bush Sr. got MOCKED when they died last year, rather than met with any sort of genuine mourning.
Daniel Butler
>if your enemies beat you, you win
Wyatt Foster
>Aoc says >Who fucking cares. Sage
Xavier Cooper
Eat shit libtard
Andrew Davis
She's wrong, conservatives aren't "losing the war" since they already capitulated to the far-left DECADES AGO.
This If this was a real war she would have been thrown out of a helicopter already
Evan Thompson
This chick has her narrative, she/it will be corrupted in no time, if not already. I believe that 95% of people get into politics for the right reasons > making change > empowering people > exposing corruption The swamp gets to them in short order. They become corrupt, get approached by those in real power, etc... AOC is definitely no exception. Trump may have been. Still unsure
Ayden Nguyen
>AOC says the conservative right is ‘losing the war’ Well, she's lying. SAGE
Christopher Evans
Forced meme, forced ideas, everything about her is forced to an extreme. Guess what, just because you keep repeating that you're winning some holy war, doesn't make it true.
Carson Sanchez
Mas?
Sebastian Sanders
>The Post: Why would they see you personally as a threat? >Because paid shills are astroturfing my name everywhere! Including you, The Post!
Andrew Harris
Why does she get publicity? Why is the media trying so hard to push her?
They act like the right is fighting against her but everything I've seen has just been laughing at her
Anthony Turner
Three AstroTurf campaigns in two weeks.
Isaac Nguyen
She’s a threat to the democrats. She’s the best thing that’s happened to the GOP in a long time.
Austin Lopez
Regular cuckservatives are dying. Libertarians are taking their place. Sorry schlomo but we're purging jidf from our political class.
Xavier King
>Regular cuckservatives are dying. Libertarians are taking their place. what's the difference?
