Thanks man. My personal domain accounts are clean, my main att account is clean, but my comcast account is pwned. Probably from the Equifax breach. I haven't used that account in over 6 years and do not have comcast. Still going to call them to make sure they shut the account down.

Pretty stupid, right? I actually use pen and paper to store my passwords. Locked in a safe too. Too many places nowadays want a user name and password for trivial shit. I have a system for those sites which is pretty effective I think. Main accounts like email, my web server, etc. all get created from a password generator.

I've been a database admin for god knows how long. There are plenty of companies out there that store passwords in plane text. Even big companies as they contract through low skilled geeks who know a few buzzwords. If you ever see a site say "use a wildcard character" run for the hills. I assume though, that these passwords were hacked and they used a rainbow table to un-hash them.

creating passwords easy to remember passwords that are also easy to type but complex enough they don't get brute forced is an art. Never trust password generators ffs, the person that coded it could predict your password and if you typed one of your current passwords into that cunts website to see if it was pwned fucking go change it right now...
