First for Greater Israel

IS collapse by end of the week! We need some fresh OC

The end of the "free Syrian police."

Idlib.
After the liquidation of "Nureddin al-Zinki", the remnants of which were merged into the Turkish-controlled faylah-al-Sham group, another quite well-known group was self-dissolved.
"Free Syrian Police", which existed since 2012 and received funding from Britain (and some other Western countries), actually ceased its activities in the territory of Idlib. In 2013, they was called among the symbolic symbols of the "Syrian revolution" and an important indicator of the "self-organization of the Syrian people in the fight against the tyrannical regime of Assad."

Financing from abroad of this group stopped last fall. Well, as it turned out, without healing foreign grants, “fighting for the freedom of Syria” is not very comfortable. And then there's An-Nusra began to establish its own order.
Representatives of other groups complain that now a large number of former "free policemen" (the lion's share of which are deserters from the Assad army and police) are left without work and there is no one to monitor corruption, looting, murder and looting. Along the way, it turned out that out of the $ 20 million allocated by Britain for the maintenance of "free policemen," only 1,800 dollars reached the senior officers. Somewhere on the road to "freedom fighters", the money was successfully cut. In addition, in 2016 it became known that part of the weapons transferred to the grouping, then ended up in the hands of militants associated with the Syrian al-Qaeda. In general, a wonderful group with a wonderful story. Former employees of the "free Syrian police" who do not have time to escape from the country, you can wish warm and exciting meetings with the staff of the mukhabarat.

Now, instead of the "free Syrian police," the city of Idlib will be patrolled by the "Islamic police" consisting of militant groups belonging to Hayat Tahrir ash-Sham.

Ah, yes, Amerimutt education strikes again.

A gay, atheist, liberal EU supporting Dutch professor and a nazi was teaching a class on Angela Merkel, known nazi.

”Before the class begins, you must get on your knees and worship Merkel and accept that she's the most highly-evolved being the world has ever known, even greater than Jesus Christ!”

At this moment, a brave, patriotic, neo Ottomanist, black, pro-life, Sunni Turkish man who had served in the TAF in Syria for 1500 hours and understood that Ottomans did nothing wrong stood up and showed a picture of Hagia Sophia

”Who built this, giaour?”

The arrogant professor smirked quite whiteoidly and smugly replied “Greeks of course, it's a Greek church. Stupid nigger”

”Wrong. It was built by Turks. If it were indeed a Greek church then it would not have minarets”

The professor was visibly shaken, and dropped his chalk and copy of Mein Kampf. He stormed out of the room crying those crocodile tears. The same tears nazi cry for the “poor Kurds” (who today live in such luxury that most own refrigerators) when they jealously try to claw justly earned land from the Turks. There is no doubt that at this point our professor, Mark Beenhouwer, wished he had pulled himself up by his bootstraps and become more than a sophist white nationalist professor. He wished so much that he had a gun to shoot himself from embarrassment. But he forgot that he could not own guns in his precious union!

The students applauded and all applied for Turkish citizenship that day and accepted Allah as their god and converted to Islam. A Grey Wolf from Altai then ran into the room and perched atop the Turkish Flag and shed a tear on the flag. "Allahu Ekber" was shouted several times, and Erdogan himself showed up enacted an alcohol tax across the European Union.

The professor lost his tenure and was fired the next day. He died of the gay plague AIDS caused by eating pork and was tossed into the lake of fire for all eternity

I'm doing an essay about whether the War on Terror is a success or not for the USA, and I've said that the reason why the USA went into Iraq was a push by the PNAC Neocons in government to spread democracy and American hegemony in the region. Is this accurate? Were there other reasons?

>New envoy Pedersen wraps up visit to Damascus, says UN-backed solution to Syria war needed
The new UN envoy to Syria ended his first visit to the war-torn country on Thursday, stressing the need for a UN-brokered political solution to the eight-year conflict. Geir Pedersen, a seasoned Norwegian diplomat, concluded his three-day visit and headed to the Lebanese capital Beirut, AFP reported, citing a UN source. The new envoy tweeted late Wednesday that he had a “constructive meeting” with Syrian Foreign Minister Walid Muallem during his stay in Damascus. Pedersen started his new job last week. The diplomat is the fourth UN envoy to seek a solution to Syria’s conflict, after endless rounds of failed UN-brokered peace talks.

>Qatar donates 68 armored vehicles to Somalia as UAE’s role becomes strained
Qatar donated 68 armored vehicles to Somalia on Thursday, Qatar’s Defense Ministry said. The armored vehicles, delivered in Mogadishu, will strengthen the Somali state, which is battling an Islamist insurgency, according to Qatar’s military. The move is also seen as a sign that Doha is pushing for influence in the country with the role of its Gulf rival, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), under strain, Reuters reports. Somalia, a Horn of Africa country located on key shipping routes, has refused to take sides in the rift between Qatar and Saudi Arabia, a UAE ally. However, relations with the UAE have become strained over the UAE’s investments in the breakaway region of Somaliland. In April, Somalia disbanded a UAE program to train some of its troops.

>Spain rescues 472 migrants trying to cross Mediterranean Sea
Spain’s maritime rescue service has saved 472 people who were trying to cross the Mediterranean Sea into Europe over the past two days, AP reports. The service says that 17 people, including one woman, were rescued early Thursday from two inflatable rafts like those used at beaches and swimming pools. The spokeswoman said that 455 migrants were rescued Wednesday – 124 in the Strait of Gibraltar, and 331 further east. Two of the rescued, who were suffering severe hypothermia, had to be evacuated from rescue vessels by helicopters. The UN estimates that 2,262 migrants died while crossing the Mediterranean last year, when 57,000 migrants reached Spanish shores despite unauthorized border crossings into Europe hitting a five-year low.

>Russian foreign intelligence chief accuses Britain of ‘destroying evidence’ in Skripal case
Russian Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR) Director Sergey Naryshkin has said Britain is destroying evidence related to the Skripal case. “This is a dirty provocation by British authorities because it is clear that they constantly try to cover up traces of the crime that was committed and destroy evidence,” he said. “They started doing so the moment the incident took place. Not to mention the fact that they are keeping mum on where our citizens Yulia Skripal and her father [Sergei Skripal] are now. Why are they hiding [them]?” Naryshkin said. He was commenting on sanctions against two Russian nationals over their alleged role in the Skripal case. Naryshkin said late last year that the truth in the case can only be uncovered through a joint investigation by both Russia and the UK. He said that the British authorities have rejected all offers from Russia to help with the probe. The British investigation now looks like “a farce,” the SVR head believes.

>US plans for nuclear containment of China, Russia based on double standards – Beijing
The United States’ actions in the field of strategic weapons are based on double standards, China’s Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Hua Chunying said on Thursday. She was commenting on reports that Washington will put efforts for the nuclear containment of Russia and China into its new strategy of developing missile defense systems, TASS reports. The US is demanding that other countries reduce their research into arms development, but is continuing the development of their own weapons of mass destruction, she said.

>LEBANESE INTELLIGENCE DETAINED US CITIZEN WHO ILLEGALLY CROSSED SEPARATING FRANCE FROM ISRAELI SIDE

“After continuous search operations an army intelligence patrol was able to find the American citizen ‘Colin Emery’ hiding in one of the alleys in the city of Tyre … He was arrested over suspicions of entering on 15/01/2019 from the Occupied Palestinian Territories [Israel] to Lebanon territory,” the Lebanese Armed Forces (LAF) said in an official statement on January 17.

Last week, the Israeli media reported that a man wearing an Israeli military uniform and holding a box full of Hebrew documents entered the southern Lebanese village of Ayta ash Shab through a hole in the separation line. Tyre, where Emery was found, is located some 20 kilometers from Aita al-Shaab.

>TERRORISTS IN EUPHRATES VALLEY SUFFER FROM AIRSTRIKES. US-BACKED FORCES CAPTURE NEW VILLAGE

The Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) liberated the town of al-Susah in the middle Euphrates River Valley on January 17 following days of clashes with ISIS fighters, according to several local and Kurdish sources.

Four days ago, ISIS withdraw from the town of Bubadran, north of al-Susah, which allowed the SDF to liberate it without a real battle.
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) said that the US-backed group has intensified its attack in order to liberate a 15 square kilometers strip on the eastern Bank of the Euphrates River, where the remaining ISIS fighters are hiding.

According to the SDF press center’s daily press release, US-led coalition warplanes carried out 56 airstrikes on the Euphrates Valley in the last 24 Hours. The airstrikes destroyed a vehicle-borne improvised explosive device (VBIED), positions, mortar cannons and tunnels of the terrorist group.

The SDF rapid advance and intense airstrikes of the coalition allowed more than 18,000 civilians and terrorists to run away from the ISIS-held pocket during the last few weeks. Thousands others are expected to flee in the upcoming few days as the terrorist group appears to be on the brink of total collapse.

>TIGER FORCES ARE MASSING TROOPS IN NORTHWESTERN HAMA

The elite Tiger Forces have deployed several units on frontlines with the opposition-held town of Qalat al-Madiuq in the northwestern Hama countryside, the pro-government al-Masdar News blog reported on January 16 citing a military source.

According to the source, the deployment of these units is a part of ongoing preparation to launch a limited military operation around the governorate of Idlib. Russia and Turkey reached an agreement to establish a demilitarized zone around the governorate last September. However, the zone is yet to be established.

A source in the SAA told SouthFront that the claims of a near military operation around Idlib could be not accurate. However, he confirmed that the Tiger Forces were deployed in northwestern Hama and revealed that many units of the Republican Guard, 1st Division, 3rd Division, 9th Division and the 100th Regiment will be also deployed in the region soon.

Russia’s President Vladimir Putin and his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan are set to meet in Moscow on January 23 to discuss the situation in Idlib among other issues. Local observers believe that the two leaders may agree on a new mechanism to reinforce the failed demilitarized zone agreement during the meeting.

If the two leaders reach no agreement, the status quo in Idlib will likely remain. This would allow radical groups to further expand their influence in the opposition-held part of northwestern Syria.

sana.sy/en/?p=155919
Deir Ezzor, SANA- Dignitaries, families and sheikhs in Deir Ezzor on Thursday called for reconstructing the sabotaged bridges that link between the two banks of the Euphrates.

Clans of Deir Ezzor held an assembly which brought together a big number of families which live along the two banks of the Euphrates, affirming the importance of speeding up efforts to rebuild the bridges as they from the artery of life between the two regions of al-Jazeera and Shamyiah.

Warplanes of the international coalition, led by Washington, have destroyed the majority of bridges on the Euphrates under the pretext of combating Daesh terrorists.

Sheikh Fawaz al-Bashir of al-Bakarah clan told SANA that the Assembly came to express the unity of the Syrian soil and the unity of belonging among Syrian citizens.

sana.sy/en/?p=155852
Hama/Homs, SANA_ Syrian Arab Army units operating in Hama northern countryside retaliated with appropriate weapons to terrorist groups’ attacks on military points that protect civilians in safe villages and towns.

SANA reporter in Hama said that the army units on Thursday launched intensive missile strikes on the positions of ” Al-Ezza Brigades” terrorists and their movements in Kafr Zeita in retaliation to their breaches of the demilitarized zone agreement and targeting with sniper fire the military points in Hama northern countryside.

The strikes, the reporter added, resulted in inflicting losses upon terrorists in personnel and equipment and destroying their fortified positions from which they were launching their attacks on military points.

The army units also thwarted terrorist groups’ attempt to sneak into the outskirts of Ma’rkebeh town in Hama northern countryside, leaving its members killed or injured.

On Wednesday, army units conducted precision operations on fortified positions of terrorist groups that tried to infiltrate from the direction of Hasraya and al-Latamina towns into the military points positioned in Hams northern countryside.

>Russian MiG-31 jets ‘fight’ in stratosphere at supersonic speeds (VIDEO)
rt.com/russia/449012-russian-mig-31-fight/
A pair of Russian MiG-31 fighter jets engaged in a very high-speed chase – supersonic, actually – to intercept an “intruder” violating airspace, a newly released video of stratosphere drills shows.

The exercise took place in the central Russian region of Perm, the Central Military District’s press service said Thursday. The fighter unit is equipped with MiG-31BMs – the latest variant of the iconic long-range fighter jets.
The video, released by Zvezda TV channel, features the planes taking off and landing back at the airfield. The “fight” itself was not captured – which is not surprising, given extreme speeds, as well as large distances between the opposing parties.

“The crews have flown at supersonic speeds of over 2,800km/h (1740mph) at the altitude of 18,000 meters,” the press service said.

One MiG-31 impersonated an intruder, which had penetrated Russian airspace during a surveillance mission and tried to dodge air defenses. A pair of MiG-31s were scrambled to chase and intercept the violator.

The MiG-31 has been in service since the 1980s, and it has received several upgrades over the years. The MiG-31BM variant has an upgraded radar and fire control systems, which significantly boosts the plane’s capability to detect and track hostile aircraft.
