>he has never farted out a pint of semen under an Autumn full moon

Jack Donovan didn't start the Wolves, right? He just started a chapter on the west coast. The original group was from Virginia, no? Or somewhere on the east coast.

The original Furries

im as clueless as anybody. i read about this group in a book that came out lately.

>These groups often use the language, tactics, and aesthetics of the radical left, and frequently exist within the same subcultures. Among the most prominent of these are clearinghouse organizations such as Attack the System as well as more organized groupings such as the Wolves of Vinland, a neo-pagan nationalist cult, organized like a biker gang and based around a land project they call “Ulfheim” near Lynchburg, Virginia, where the Wolves crowdfunded the construction of a traditional Viking longhouse.2 The Wolves have three major chapters, with apparent organizational centers in Virginia, the Mountain States and the Pacific Northwest, as well as a larger propaganda wing called “Operation Werewolf” which yokes together the participation of smaller groups nationwide.

sounds like a huge cringy LARP

>Their work is popularized by semi-mainstream theorists like Jack Donovan, founder of the Wolves’ “Cascadia” chapter and author of a series of books on tribalism and masculinity.3 Donovan and the Wolves propose an across-the-board return to one’s own “indigenous” roots, which will allow for the formation of a new confederacy of non-state, self-governing communitarian “tribes,” defined in cultural terms but essentially reducible to ethnicities. They thereby discover a politics commensurate and compatible with the various ethno-nationalisms offered by the “decolonial” fraction of the miserable American left, and often understand themselves as part of this broader current. Such groups simply see themselves as building a place for white people within a communitarian confederacy of newly indigenous traditionalism, and their language often mirrors that of the left in arguing for a return to indigenous roots and the construction of autonomous zones.4 Donovan, for example, often mixes leftwing and right-wing rhetoric in a single breath, arguing that the Wolves’ back-to-the-land project in Virginia is about escaping to another world, not just for an hour or even a day, but for good. The Wolves of Vinland are becoming barbarians. They’re leaving behind attachments to the state, to enforced egalitarianism, to desperate commercialism, to this grotesque modern world of synthetic beauty and dead gods. They’re building an autonomous zone, a community defined by face-to-face and fist-to-face connections where manliness and honor matter again.5

My biggest issue with them at first was how metal-centric they seemed to be. I think they even had a metal band. I don't mind the metal scene, but it's more for LARPers than actual pagans/tribalists. I don't think a real identity movement can spawn from an art scene. It's already tainted with artsy look-at-me-ism.

From what I heard, they put a lot of emphasis on fighting and physical fitness, which I appreciate. But apparently they also just lift weights and do steroids to present an ultra-masculine exterior. It seems like it's more for looks. I've seen 'biker gangs' pop up from drinking scenes and groups of 'tough guys' like bouncers, security, gyms, etc. Usually it's just lost guys looking to create an identity around their crew and hoping to be 'badass'.
I'm not saying that's what it is with the Wolves. I don't really know. I wish them well, and I'd back them if they made strides toward a white nationalist future. But it's just not for me. I'd rather be a lone wolf than in a pack of wolves who don't do anything but try and impress one another.

gay larp club, all of those dudes fuck each other in the ass and dance around naked in the forest. just because they have roid muscles doesn't make it any less gay

Richard Spencer's best friend (with benefits)

They all come across as cowards on a level

yeah their aesthetics is totally Hollywood, it looks like a reality tv show, mixed with some pop-nietzschen half baked philosophy.

im actually surprised that the author goes on so much in his book talking about them, but he implies that such grouping will gain more power in the "hinterland" of America

Awwww look at the little anticuck trying to gather intel.
Lmao, you could literally know the adress of every member of this group and you would never do shit because one of these men would rip through an entire battalion of antifas singlehandedly without so much as taking a scratch.

There is nothing faggier than a bunch of men jerking off to each other's masculinity

Real men live alone

Literal satanist homos sharing each other's poz blood, killing animals, generally chimping out in the forest while LARPing as a "tribe" (no girls allowed). Stay away.

grow up little child, i dont care about their wood larping. go back to to your Gillet tread

lol this guy is all fucked up... kek

Sounds good to me.

Cringey homo bdsm squad by the looks of it

The gay thing isn't even a joke. They're influenced by Fight Club which was one long allegory for gay orgies.

>can someone redpill me on the Wolves of Vinland and jack donovan?
If that is them in your OP pic, they are obviously of the homosexual persuasion.
>did anyone here ever heard of them?
Due to your low response rate ITT so far, may I suggest you try /lgbt/?
