I'm a former military officer of the Air Force in Belgium. I was friends with a few higher ranking colonels embedded into NATO and the EU command structures. 3) Germany

Both economies are relatively equal, but the EU has 60% more people than the US.
The US spends about twice as much as all of Europe combined, so they *could* win.

Nuclear conflict is out of the question. Both the US and France have nuclear shields. They are the only countries in the world to be "immune" to nuclear attacks.

U.S hands down. We are more monolithic than Euro trash could ever be in a million years. To many tribes and shit for Euro Trash to mount an attack or defense. Only thing the U.S would have to do is attack the moral of the smaller countries that France and Germany would be sending to die for them. First, anyone who wants a war with the US has to be willing to absorb a nuclear strike. We have enough nukes to exterminate all life on earth 100 times over and you can ask the japs whether we have the balls to use them or not.
Second, We're covered on two sides by massive oceans and about half of our northern border is covered by the great lakes and the St Lawrence Seaway. Any attempted amphibious attack on the US would be laughably easy to destroy so that leaves you with our southern border which is covered by the biggest military base on earth in Texas and the western half of our northern border which is mostly mountainous so good luck getting tanks and shit through there.
You could conceivably get some light infantry across into North Dakota but you'd be nowhere near any major population centers and our air force would destroy you before you got anywhere near one.

We can't be conquered, ever. We could possibly contained like we did with Russia during the cold war but no one on earth is going to defeat/conquer the US.
