Where our current capitalist shit system fails is the same place you're overlooking: not all incentive is equal. Thinking that incentive is incentive is what leads to Wal Mart doing pep dances for their employees to go back to work for slightly above minimum wage.

Noone really has incentive anyway already, and any "productivity" is earned on the backs of people actually doing work. "productivity" in make-work, power-point, bullshit office jobs that could be eliminated so easily that it's effectively a wellfare job anyway. So don't fucking talk about productivity like it's some blanket term.

And in any case, why the fuck do you people talk about hand outs but don't move a muscle in your limp wrists to say the same about multi-nationals that get loads more handouts, again, off the backs of hard working people.

Capitalism outlived its genuine and valid usefulness. It was the only way to get the world out of the state it was, with its limited technology. Technology now has come to alleviate any of the logistics that were holding us back. The current system is a putrid, infectious fossil.

It's not welfare if it's not taken from other people's paychecks. The best proposed system is basically a closed circuit, a closed loop that funds and pays for itself.

I am entirely in favor of taking all existing government welfare programs, throwing the collective annual budget in a pile, and calling that UBI.

Taper off the monthly gibs to phase out with actual income (ie for every 4 dollars you earn, you get 1 less UBI dollar).
