man when I did time in fucking juvie (for property crimes, not even anything bad all I realistically did was borrow a truck when it was cold out and crash it by accident into a storefront and then sell like 40k worth of track suits for 10k before they could get ruined by being exposed to the elements, I was basically just helping them clear up some garbage) it was just a cinderblock room with a cement bed with a mattress that was like an inch thick, and the only entertainment I had was talking shit through the vents and trying to convince fas chugs that I was god and they should hang themselves.
Our tv was probably smaller then that, black and white, and in cage in a common room.
I certainly did not have my own bathroom and had to buzz the pod every time I wanted to piss or shit and they would try to make you beg and if you instead decided to shit and piss in an empty cup of soup and hurl it at them, you got to spend a few weeks in a cement cell with NOTHING in it but a metal toilet, and you were nude with a canvass babydoll that you could either wear or sit on.
Oh and it was like -30 outside and there was a tiny sliver of a window that managed to let out any heat.

The prisoners are usually kept isolated for most of the week except a about an hours or so each week when they can interact with other prisoners if they want to. The Norwegian prisoners are ok with it but the non-Norwegian prisoners are often driven mad by the isolation and kill themselves.
