Here in Brazil, I think there are a racial division in music.
Whites, índios and some pardos seems to like more sertanejo music than blacks:

However, blacks seems to like Brazilian funk more than whites:

This also happens in other countries? In the USA, for exemple, majority of country listeners are white or in the South blacks also listens to it?

Blacks like their music with more rhythm, tempo, bass, its like the heart beat. Its more sexual. Its like the drums they play over there in africa, its the tempo, the africans dance their feet to the same heartbeat of the drum. You see this in reggaeton, its always puerto rican and colombian because they're part black. You will never see a legit mexican reggaeton.
