One thing that is absolutely crucial to understand, is that AT LEAST Half of all the people who take these tests, are not the personality type they tested as. More often than not, people test how they wish they were, not how they actually are. Which, in my opinion, is most of the reason people lose interest in MBTI. Example being that INFJ is supposed to be the rarest type, yet you go to facebook or youtube and they seem to be all over the damn place. Most who type as INTJ are often ISTJs who wish they were even remotely creative or show actual ambition.

Those that often get either E/I or N/S etc. are the ones that are generally somewhere in the middle. And most people are somewhere in the middle, some people are extreme cases.
My example: I'm like 85%+ introverted so there's no fucking way I could ever get Exxx in my results. Someone who is in the middle of I and E, but leaning to I, will mostly get the result of Ixxx, but sometimes E, depending on the mood at the time of taking the test.

Only taking the test themselves gives a lot of people false result due to their own biases. A fuckton of people are unable to reflect on themselves, and answer how they wish others perceived them rather than how they are actually perceived.

The best results are achieved by taking the test yourself first. And then you have the person who knows you best take it for you, without you in the room. If the results match, you've got a pretty decent indicator.
