Here in California it's legal, but there are a couple cities/counties that still kept the ban. My city kept the ban, you can still buy medicinal marijuana if you got a card, and still grow it (up to 6 plants), but it's illegal for recreational use... Think about it, I can't buy it to smoke it for rec use, but I can still grow it to smoke it for rec use. Plus, the shops in my city, even the ones that have been grandfathered in are gonna close down, but now there's talk about a delivery service that will bring weed right to your door, but that's only for medical card holders. My city just fucked it up all around

Federal Constitutional Court said nobody must be punished for the posession of a small amount of Cannabis. But what is small is up to the states to decide. So my state decided 0 grams is a small amount. Was busted with 2 grams, had to pay 500 Euros in fine and legal fees.

I'm in OH, our medical system just passed a while ago and it's now just finally actually functional with the first of 60 something dispensaries opening literally yesterday, when it was supposed to be operational september of last year.

There are 21 qualifying conditions to get a medical card. I plan on getting a card once more dispensaries are open but ironically enough what I truly want it for isn't on the qualifying list, but I make the list anyways for other things.

Here's how ass backwards this state is, prior to the medical system CBD was legal to sell in stores, now it can only be sold in dispensaries which there's very few operational of and you need a card to buy it, effectively making CBD illegal again.

If you just want to get high it's easier and cheaper than going through the medical system here, I literally just want a fucking shampoo for my psoriasis that works, and my experience with CBD leads me to believe it'll work for me, nothing else has. I can get whatever I want off the street, bud, wax's, oil's, etc but not the one thing I want.

i live in california so weed is legal and easy to get, but how easy depends on the county. some have embraced it and anyone over 21 can buy pot with an ID, some are against it and you can only get it from a dealer or a dispensary if you have a medical card.

medical card is easy to get, you can get them at head shops without even talking to a doctor even in the strictest counties. you don't need to show proof of anything.

dealers are still common and they have all the commercial products you can get in stores, usually cheaper. cops don't fuck with them at all. that's just california, other states are different. some are just as lenient, some you can still get a felony just for possession.

it's still illegal federally so if you have a job that your employer is allowed to drug test for they can still fire you if you have weed in your system. any state government job that drug tests or anything law enforcement will still test for weed. it's still a legal grey area.

i hope they legalize it. the war on drugs is a waste of money and puts too much strain on our legal system.

partially true. there are strains that have been bred specifically to contain more CBD and less THC, which is good for some patients but not others. there are states in america that only allow medical marijuana to be sold in government-run stores, and in some of these states they will have limits on THC content. there was also a federal medical marijuana program that is still running but no longer accepting new patients that supplies patients with a case of prerolled joints every month that are rolled with notoriously bad pot, the strain was bred and standardized in the 70's and has remained unchanged ever since and is of abyssmally poor quality.

the plant contains THC, CBD and about 2 dozen other cannabinoids along with dozens of different terpenoids, depending on the strain, and recent research is showing that these chemicals taken together produce the most beneficial effects.
