Not that I've ever seen. I know of one big stretch in Montana where the only thing that designates the border is a strip of deforested land. I've been into Canada plenty of times. I've even crossed over while hunting.
Plus a monitoring device in the forest would be largely useless but if you're concerned just make sure to wear blotches of face paint which will throw off facial recognition software should they capture your image. That or a bandana.
