SU was built upon a biological dictatorship of non-russians (Bolshevik's dream of "new historical community — soviet nation"), not only jews, but any minority group or mestizoes, especially from both non-russian parents.
For natural reasons, this model turned out to be unsustainable.

Perestroika deception. Make the west think they won while they silently take over the west blindsided by their hubris. It's already happening

The dates are pretty spot on.

The reason is that the ongoing crisis was political: conservatives and reactionaries in the party overtook it by this date, and had no progressive policies except sitting on their asses and disallowing any change.

Also, China.

It was a political collapse, not an economic collapse.

You need to look at the inner workings of the party and also the relationships between the countries that made up the union.

The primary reason for the Soviet collapse was the democratization of the country.

The inherent flaws of state capitalism were there but the economy was nowhere near as bad as it could have been. It only went to shit late 87 when people realized there was really no point in working since the entire system was going to collapse.

Well, history has proven that Ceausescu did nothing wrong.

In fact, all he did was only to save the Roma Gypsies from themselves.

What was exactly happening in the 1980s that Gorbachev needed to make reforms?

>history
My parents and grandparents who almost got killed and teachers and others would say otherwise

Communism is not a sustainable economic system.
1973 not everything was going fine

What happened in the 1980s was that Gorbachev took power and decided to increase production of white goods for the civilian sector. He wanted prosperity for the Soviet citizens which meant more cars more clothes and more food.

When he took power he diverted funds from military production and moved them into production of civilian goods. However there was a problem as pointed by Andrapov. They were investing 100 into production of civilian goods but were only producing 20. The system was so inefficient there was no way it could supply the complex lifestyle that Gorbachev wanted.

So he decided on petit Capitalism. Basically he would allow some Capitalism into the Soviet system and then go back to Communism. The increased competition would trim the fat of the Soviet system and allow it to produce more goods.

At the same time he wanted the USSR to be more democratic and healthier so he removed the ban on borders and foreign media and stopped alcohol sales since the country had a massive problem with alcoholism.

Polish debt default+Soviet maintenance of it+Strict economic measures in the USSR itself.

That's a lot better than a lot of places for 1973.

in addition to these economic problems, reagan funded unprecedented military spending simply by borrowing money, mostly owned by japan as our creditor. the USSR felt compelled to keep up with the spending on new missiles, new warheads, new technologies (B2, Peacekeeper, etc.) and it ruined the USSR economy. they couldn't maintain it, and neither could we, which is why the US economy under Bush (#1) was awful. but we could sustain it better than the USSR, especially in a time when the USSR was trying to do economic reforms at the same time.

if we hadn't ruined our own economy to overstretch the economy of the USSR, we might have been able to do a marshall plan round 2 for eastern europe after the USSR fell, and the world might be a better place. instead we blew the money on nonsense like the war on drugs and bush's pet military campaigns or military spending for israel and egypt.

RED MAN GONE

This ended up being disastrous for the Soviet system. The way the USSR ran was extremely complex. There was multiple 5 year plans along with hundreds of people working on coordinating all sectors of the economy.

Remember there was almost no market feedback. Almost everything had to be simulated by the Soviet bureaucracy. It is not like in Capitalism where people pick and choose what they want to buy or how much.

The Soviets has to figure out or guess how much goods people wanted to buy then produce those goods then quality control them. This led to basically 2 economies one where people spent all day simulating demand and the other where they produced those goods to fulfill that demand. This was very inefficient. There was a huge amount of overhead to fulfill one thing.

For example there was something called storm production. Let’s say you have a factory that produces refigrators. The plan is that you are supposed to produce 500 this month. Problem is since the system is so inefficient you don’t get the raw materials to produce the units in the end of the month.

First week you make 50 second week 35 third week 40 last week of the month the raw material to make 500 units finally comes in. Now you have to make the remaining units in the last week. This happened all the time they called it “storm production”. So you have to make the remaining units in one week and they are all going to be shit.

yes usa spies and traitors who infiltrated communist party of ussr, china destroyed them with tanks in 1988 and stopped revolution and saved communist party and that is the reason china is taking over now

I love to hear from Americans how we lived in USSR.

I understand what you're saying here, but I don't see how it has anything to do with the inefficiencies of a command economy. If anything, knowing in advance what the "market" (simulated by planners in this case) wants should make it much easier to coordinate supply chains. In today's capitalist societies, we do it based on real-time consumer choices and produce in Just in Time material loops that can be as short as a few hours. It's two different problems. The command economy concept is an abject failure, and their supply chain management was abysmal. The common link is bloated, ineffective bureaucracy trying to replace rational economic actors.

Jews led the charge though, much like they do now in Europe. Expect a similar result.

What was that fraud Einstein's quote again?

Communism doesn't work and never has. It's Messianic Talmudism repackaged for the goy. The Jews wanted to rule a state full of slaves while they owned everything, just as the Talmud promised. That's why 85% of the Old Bolsheviks were all Jews. Once Stalin purged the Jews, there was no master-slave arrangement and the explicit racial supremacy mindset of Jews to hold it together. Thus it ended.

But you don’t know what the market wants. That was the problem on top of that if you produce extra goods you cannot sell them in the black market or buy the raw materials you needed.

For example you have a factory that makes wooden products. You make 500 chairs out pine. But now you get an order to make 500 tables out of sandalwood. You don’t have sandalwood but you have left over pine. Instead of selling this and buying sandalwood you have to go to a meeting with other factory managers and trade your pine until you find somebody to trade for sandalwood.

The introduction of capitalism was like a wrench in the system. It was already bad but once market forces were applied it flew off the rails and began collapsing completely in 1987. This led to various revolutions and paralysis of the USSR economic systems. The reformists won even more of the votes. Now with the ban on free press lifted and people seeing more of how those in the West were living better then them they lost complete faith in the USSR and transitioned to a marker economy.

Problem with soviet system was always production quality, there wasn't any stimuli to make better products, because wages like prices were all state regulated. Add there rampant alcoholism and mismanagement and you get what was called "deficit" ie chronic lack of elementary goods and quality of services.
There wasn't any unemployment, because state basifally enforced you to keep your job, even if you were a total loser. If you got dead drunk, police put you in special sobering and facilities you were back at the job next day.

Whole life begun to depend on black market and personal connections, ie knowing the right people, especially store employees, warehouses, etc. Soviet system could only sustain itself because of rising oil prices and American grain. In long run it was programmed to collapse.
