>2001 - 2009 >before SJWs went completely overboard and insane >had black and latina leads >an interracial friendship and interracial relationship >strong, well-written female characters with careers >had ideological diversity as well - featured christian and conservative characters, for example. Took a mostly neutral perspective. >race was joked about regularly. Nobody really made much of it.
Seems like the problems SJWs point to were solving themselves. Why did they become so fanatical?
Saw an ad for this on tv when I was like 8 and though scrubs was english slang for fag or something and that this was homo propaganda. How close was I?
Brandon Sanchez
the show still piggybacked on the 80s/90s black-white buddy thing like in predator or lethal weapon that didnt try shove the race stuff up your asshole but was just plain fun
Nigger exhaustion came after the late 90's with the rise of the Social Justice NPCs replacing regular commies and ecomorons.
Gavin Russell
It had and still has the record for being the show with the most accurate representation of life in medicine (even medical facts/diagnoses/tests). They even have an episode where the hospital uses Turk (black doctor) as a token black guy to promote their diversity. So, to answer your question - yes.
Levi Miller
>JD the white male lead is a feminine fruit with a borderline homosexual relation with the black lead named Türk No, it's jew shit.
Jackson Stewart
>They had a TV show depicting multi racialism working therefore multi racialism was working in society at large.
Joseph King
It was never intended that the status quo of equal but separate existence represented in media here be maintained. And social relations between races like this mostly don't exist in the first place. It was just one stage of integrationist propaganda to get the population hooked before upping the dosage.
There's an old R&B song called Scrub. Scrub, I don't want no scrub, Scrub is a guy that can't get no love from me, It basically meant broke ass nigga.
Sebastian Moore
From these examples, I have to say yes. It's diverse and idealised, but it's not all up in your face about how virtuous it's being. Here it's two guy doing a 'no homo' song. It's great cause two guys can be friends and be defensive about not being gay, and not get told off for it by the straights nor by the queers.
Josiah Morris
I couldn't stand the whiney jew MC
Based Cox was the only good thing
Nicholas Parker
Nice digits. It was a joke about guys that have been friends for a very long time being so close that modern people mistake it for homosexuality... Which has honestly broken down the male relationship because of "nah nigga I ain't gay" mentality.
Nathaniel Davis
It's backwards! It's been bothering me for years
Ryder Ross
In my home country a "scrubber" was someone who goes around in old clothes: a poor kid basically.
Aaron Allen
Dr. Cox and Janitor balance him out. Also JD is clealry Jewish.
Justin Flores
>Zachary Israel Braff >white
Andrew Cruz
That was kind of the point.
Boondocks, The Chappelle Show, and Scrubs were all made around the time people wanted to get past race as being something divisive. Our differences and stereotypes were used as a point of humor that everyone could laugh about without laughing at each other.
Tyler Morgan
Wow, come into the thread and not a single Zack Braf meme. /pol is fucking dead
Levi King
That what it is in the US (northeast, St least). Hospital "scrubs" are the things you wear when you "scrub in" or wash your hands vigorously before putting on smock and gloves and performing surgery
There have been diverse science fiction and action movies for decades. Millineal bugmen just don’t know shit about pop culture that started before Harry Potter.
Those are truly shit memes. The scrubs specific ones are fine.
Leo Garcia
Notice how none of these shows exist today, and talking about them (first two anyways) labels you as edgy or racist.
Connor Reed
Superman no I'm?
Daniel Long
They know, they just don’t want actual diversity. They want all whites dead or enslaved. When you understand their genuine motivation it all makes sense
Brayden Lewis
My MD buddy said this was the most realistic medical show in TV
Jaxon Gonzalez
There's a really good, unpozzed show on Netflix called Longmire. It's about a sheriff in a small, fictional town in Wyoming. It's a great example of a TV show doing diversity right. >the town is next to an injun reservation so there are understandably lots of injun characters and injun-centric episodes >they are pretty realistic, well-written characters who have backstories and plots behind their Indian identity >the Indians aren't made out to be perfect, the two biggest villains in the show are members of the tribe and there are a lot of episodes about the rampant crime and drug abuse taking place on the reservation >the show also doesn't make it seem like they are in some perfect example of diverse racial harmony that liberals dream about, the main character's best friend is an Indian but even they still have disagreements stemming from race sometimes and the Indians tell the MC's bleeding heart daughter to fuck off when she tries to help the tribe with her lawyer skills >occasionally the Indian characters play the race card to cover for their problems but the white characters usually don't fall for it, plus the show itself has scenes depicting they only have themselves to blame for their predicament >blacks aren't forced in the show since they're in a state where black people don't exist, the one black character in the show is a villain from Denver (he even cracks a joke about how there aren't any blacks around in Wyoming)
>you will meet a girl who gets wet when you shit talk Hillary
Josiah Powell
>Be me >think of watching this show a few days ago beacuse why not >literally been over for years >Hi im op and lets talk about this obscure show from a decade past >realize Im the god of this hellscape and my concious thoughts influence realtiy and other peoples thoughts all over the globe No need to ask where god is apparently I am him
It was shit. Nobody sounds like an actual person, ie: somebody with a different and varied personality. Each person in Scrubs was just a mere mouthpiece for the script writers to launch their gags. Even the patients sound the same as the lead characters.
Christian Flores
Nigger bluepilled Jew shit. Nope.
Christopher Lewis
the chest x-ray
Robert Gray
DA ESS JAY DOUBLE YOUS
Nathaniel Phillips
I always thought it was done intentionally.
David Rivera
No, it was complete shit.
Ian Thompson
It's pretty accurate. I think the writers based a lot of it on accounts from the MD author Sam Shem
Leo Richardson
>Good parts of scrubs The Janitor was great. Dr Cox was alright. I liked Dr Kelso, he was like the /oldfag/ who had been blackpilled so bad nothing mattered to him anymore. All the random question stars. Decent music in some episodes. >Bad things about scrubs Almost all the main characters. JD, Elliot, Carla all sucked. Turk was okay but also annoying. And they ripped the Todd character from Johnny Bravo.
Cameron Foster
And super based Dr. Cox, the white guy.
Yeah I’d say it was done right.
Joshua Hughes
Ever occur to you the show was bullshit, you miserable stupid fucking bong? Pray to allah for brains, Achmed.
Alexander Sanders
hospital shows are without exception gay as fuck.
Jackson Roberts
eh it still was kind of weird and I never got into it.
so many non-whites and a foreign culture, probably commifornian culture or something.
Parker Harris
Sad, genuinely
Ryder Bailey
Everyone's consciousness shapes the universe you special snowflake cunt.
Joseph Brown
I'll agree with that. I found it unwatchable because a liberal cuck in my school used to imitate various unfunny cringeworthy scenes of friendship between suave wog doctor and his sexually ambiguous beaky friend.
Thinking about it though I can't remember any realistic character development. It legit has less than non-chronological cartoons.
Jayden Johnson
My friends sis is becoming a doctor and she said this exact thing
Jeremiah Gomez
They took advantage of the social contract and put whites and men in a prisoners dilemma where it was against their interests to continue to honor it
Jonathan Peterson
The TV-Show that has a diversity to it without feeling forced definitely must be Brooklyn 99
Michael Cox
>was anything with zach braff done right No, you fucking bongshit.
Todd represents a subset of surgeons in medicine that are so bro-like/meat-headed that other physicians frequently wonder how the fuck they got through even their undergraduate, let alone boards and medical school.
Yeah but Todd's character is literally Johnny Bravo. A show that did the dude bro doctor much better was Chuck. Captain Awesome was a better character.
>normalfag humor No laugh track is normalfag to you?
Jacob Nelson
>ready to check out Pragues vibrant gay scene
Kayden Reyes
>It's a jungle out there.
Luke Diaz
obama happened
Camden Kelly
Race pimps like Jessie Jackson were becoming irrelevant. Can't have that, better stir up some fake controversy and rehash the Civil Rights era because there's basically nothing left to fight for but we need young leftists to feel like they're a part of something.
Also, jews.
Juan Hill
Charles Boyle Regina Linetti Michael Hitchcock Norman Scully
David Adams
I could never watch that show because of the nigger
Jose Young
What? The only white characters in that show are evil or fat stupid incompetents. Unless you're being ironic, that show is such contrived and transparently Jewish well-wishing watching it gives me bone-cancer like nausea. It's gazing straight into the schizo mind of Adam Sandberg's Jew neurosis.
Ethan Parker
Dr. Cox frequently berates the religious, republicans, and many times pitches for universal healthcare. >But that's probably just the writers being fags, because he'd be called a bigot today.
I don't know the last two, I only watched the first season but yes I stand corrected. Two whites. The one guys is half Spagetti half potato nigger so he's dubious. And Chelsea Peretti is a literal Jew.
You gotta point there, OP. I didn't even think about that sort of thing at time. No one really did. They probably did that intentionally (cast a diverse group of actors), but it was likely more in an effort to appeal to a wider audience than to push an agenda. Even if it were the latter, they weren't pushing it down our throats yet. The fear of offending had begun, though. Whenever you'd see a doctor or a judge, unless the judge were meant to be corrupt or mean, they would be a woman or minority. You also see a rise in white criminals.
The SJWs smelled fear and went full force.
Liam Lopez
>obama happened This.
Caleb Lopez
>Based Cox was the only good thing Didn't his wife cheat and leave him, got pregnant with new guy and spend half a season with him begging her to take him back? He was a cuck.
Matthew Cruz
So many of these things I grew up watching and subsequently have an attachment to purely because they were what I grew up watching. This is one of them. If I put on my normie goggles for a while I can enjoy Scrubs, but that's about it. I'm really pissed about growing up in the world I did; I almost want to write an entire alternate Harry Potter series that adheres to ideas like race realism and NatSoc instead of essentially being The Turner Diaries for liberals.
Dylan Diaz
The Brendan Fraser episode is still one of my favorites
Easton Perry
She did fuck around, but the kid she had was his.
Jason Peterson
>close friendship is borderline homosexuality This is your mind on residual public school brainwashing.
Robert Williams
>Scrubs >faggy Na bro, you just have bad taste, its OK you might grow out of it by the time you are 18. Go play some Destiny.
Cooper Rodriguez
It was his kid
Ryan Parker
It's almost as if someone doesn't want these problems solved.
Jacob Hughes
Early seasons were good Then they turned JD into a fag for some reason and it all fell apart. Dr. Cox and Kelso were based though
Joseph Garcia
the only white people were a super slut and boomer doctor
Dominic Miller
Around the same time there was a song called "I don't want no scrubs" from Destiny's Child, which was digging on people who had nothing going for them in their lives. This show definitely played on that as all of the main characters were losers in their own ways.
John Cook
Slippery slope.
Easton Moore
I thought the lead Jew had a crush on the blond jew, no?
Angel Garcia
Dr. Kelso is the best character. Janitor is second.
