>"I am the deserted person here, I should be the person who looks after the children." The law takes no account of it at all. You are left on your own. The law barges into your house and will ultimately send you to prison if you resist the law's absolutely fervent attempts to make you break your contract.
>This is where we are and it's going even further, because again, forgive me for quoting but it's so important, Mrs. Justice Hale as she then was, now the first woman on the Supreme Court, did much in her legal career to remove the idea of blame from divorce law, and in 1982, again prophetically, in an article called 'The Utility of Marriage as a Legal Institution', she pointed out "whether it would have been possible to remove the inequality between the sexes, improve the protection given to the weak, and at the same time promote lasting marriage, we shall never know. Instead, the efforts of English law to remove the defects of the marital package deal have succeeded in not only virtually destroying whatever value it has as a stabilizing or restraining force, but also in an ever closer approximation of the legal consequences of marriage and extramarital cohabitation, in circumstances the piecemeal erosion of the distinction between marriage and non-marital cohabitation may be expected to continue. Logically, we have already reached a point at which, rather than discussing which remedies should now be extended to the unmarried, we should now be considering whether the legal institution of marriage continues to serve any useful purposes."
>That from one of the cleverest and most far-seeing judges and lawyers in our country. Marriage in this country is legally dead, it exists as a ghost, and what anybody proposes to do to defend it I have no idea. It would be nice, I have to say because of the enormous importance of it, is the foundation of a free society in which people can bring up their children as they wish, teach them the ideas that they wish to...
(reposting from prev thread) # That was crafted for him. This ridiculous story is too perfect for the leftist narrative. And who fucking believes CNN has any concern for spirituality or souls? The fucking hypocrisy is astounding.
a few years from now cnn and the entire left/right dichotomy will still exist. "fake news" will be discredited as a trump era buzzcuck one time thing.
does anyone really trust the AG? all the news channels are in lockstep about him being the sherrif in town
Jeremiah Rogers
No one here gives a fuck who "owns" this shutdown. Let all of them, none of them own it, whatever makes the shutdown continue for at least 2-3 more months.
HAPPENINGS Some anons here are election babbies and never even experiences a Ferguson/Baltimore level Chimporino!
>pass on to them, pass on, in fact, everything which was given to them by their forebearers, and continue this as a society rather than just a collection of people living in the same place.
>It would have be nice if that could have continued, it would be nice if the state hadn't mounted a 40-year assault on it, it would be nice if anybody purporting to be conservative had, at any time since this terrible mistake was made to try to undo it, but nobody has and nobody will. If you feel like it, vote against the motion. It's a good thing to do, it won't make any difference, I have no other point to make.
The first time I read about gay marriage was in a booklet published by two radical professors. They admitted it was meant for nothing else but to destroy the institution of marriage.
Listen to what happened in and to the USSR when the Commies implemented their anti-family program, from 1918 to 1936, when they completely reversed it: Ven. Fulton J. Sheen: "Communism and the Family" (1947) m.youtube.com/watch?v=FGv-whqBryk

my teacher used to tell us sit indian style so i got a bottle of whiskey and laid on the curb
Anthony Flores
I assume they were fucking around because they're kids, and kids are generally a bunch of irreverent chucklefucks.
Nicholas Carter
Everything is composed of chemicals, you berks. You're shameful in your ignorance so be quiet and listen instead.
Question for political niggers: why does Trump do that speech on a long weekend? and why does he delay it an hour? Obviously just an offer for Dems to decline, so why tease it? Just showmanship? Or is there a strategy I'm not seeing?
Let's look at the two sides of this: the first, Trump wins and gives "temporary" status for DACA recipients while getting $5.7 billion for a wall and other detections. Or the other side, the shutdown continues.
Mason Kelly
Nothing to retract. Buzzfeed reported that anonymous sources said a thing, and no one is denying that they did.
Lol I’ve never even thought about it. I think there is a zero % chance they will even want to mention it again. Even CNN and MSNBC can’t stand buzzfeed now. They fucked up reall nice and proper.
Xavier Ward
Cnn wouldn't have called you a nigger.
Hunter Baker
>fuck you Drumpf >eat our ass >we're buzzfeed! >No one who reads us gives a shit >no one who doesn't read us doesn't hate us >Go fuck yourself king cheeto!
Mason Gray
He offered them virtually everything they wanted in 2017 and they turned it down. The shutdown is objectively on them now.
Fucking this. We're coddling grown adults for harassing children, just because they're minorities. I actually made one of my former liberal friends admit he felt that minorities were less capable and intelligent than white people, so they needed help more. Bunch of fucking hypocrites.
Brandon Hernandez
Sometimes you should force yourself to address the point of a person rather than pretend like they are part of some conspiracy against you to aggrandize your ego.
Jace Russell
The media cant talk about muh russia conspiracy shit thanks to Buzzfeed for a few days now because its so freshly discredited in the public space so Trump gave the media a big new talking point. One that he wins by seeming so magnanimous no matter how much they will try to spin it.
Lee County on the other hand had only around 70% turnout, and the massive boost Trump got here (40k more votes than R-Money) contributed massively to his victory.
2020 is a turnout game, and /potential/ turnout always favored the Republicans- the Democrats maxed out in 2008. All felon voting does is give the dems slightly more breathing room, but the Reps still have the overall advantage. It wouldn't shock me if Trump won by 200-400k in FL in 2020.
Evan Hill
Bullshit. They don't get to hype a story like that as if it were true beyond a shadow of a doubt and then memory-hole it. Anons should hit them hard with all their videos from the day it came out and show people what Tuck and Hannity have been on about. Liberal MSM is a single entity, that includes buzzfeed.
>harassing children is this what happened? why? I literally have seen zero fucking context as to why any party was there or anything leading up to it, which tells me that at least some of the narrative is hot steaming bullshit, because that's usually the case.
Charles Gray
She's not wrong, you know? I hope Trump has a serious deal prepared next time he tweets something.
Trump's given them 2 chances to play nice, my bet is that he'll follow the rule of threes and give them one more chance using the SOTU as a platform (again knowing they can't and won't accept). After that, having made sure nobody forgets he gave them a chance, the gloves come off, likely in mid-February or early March when the Dems will be getting into campaigning for the primaries. This gives all of them a massive handicap right out of the gate since they'll have to address how badly they just fucked up. They'll tear each other to pieces trying to justify to the voters they did nothing wrong, while simultaneously trying to get enthusiasm for turnout in Congressional elections, and balancing not pissing off the establishment and their donors while avoiding getting lynched by hordes of angry shitskins. They also have to find a way to make Blacks slaves again, otherwise they're fucked in every state that matters.
what is kino? thought it was a type of gambling game at liquor stores.
Cameron Lee
>The shutdown is objectively on them now.
>mfw Trump rattled Pelosi by cancelling her trip >she rejected it before he offered
Wew, the patience of this man. The crazy amount of patience and planning. Some anons are like "JUST GAS THE BEANERS NOW! JUST CALL NATIONAL EMERGENCY NOW! JUST ARREST ALL THE DEMOCRATS NOW!" and I totally agree with the sentiment.
But Trump's way has this smooth slow unfolding into where we need to be and go for this all to be done legitimately so that it doesn't unfold the second he is out of office or have a terribly reactionary backlash 10 years from now.
see to them its okay to call them dumb bcs they say afterwards they need help. wow
Ayden Myers
i disagree
the MSM is going to take a nosedive
no one believes their lies anymore
Mason Gutierrez
>Thinking recidivist niggers give a shit about civics is fucking retarded
Colton Clark
>Trump shut down the government does this bitch not know that the house never managed to pass the funding bill or is she just pretending to not hear it?
Evan Garcia
>is this what happened? they doxxed one if im correct
Free enterprise doesn't cause stupidity, people act stupid of their own accord.
Adrian Smith
So? When did that stop being a thing?
Luke Martinez
richard strauss just likes giving me grief. i'll have this set adequately ready after a few days at this point they're going to use their audacious story as publicity even if it's false. it's not like buzzfeed has any credibility to lose
Longer the lel shut down goes the better, as long as Trump doesn't cave this shit will work out. He's a man on a mission with nothing to lose and that probably makes normal politicians shit their pants?
>All felon voting does is give the dems slightly more breathing room, but the Reps still have the overall advantage they shouldn't have any breathing room given to them
Jose Powell
Nancy Pelosi rejected the proposal before Trump even made it. Anything Trump would have suggested, they would have rejected.
Cameron Green
Recidivist niggers will be back in jail by then.
Carter White
>Dem area has 90% turnout
Do people really think this is legitimate?
Andrew Wright
Trump literally said "I will shut down the government". And then he did.
Joshua Baker
uh are you unfamiliar with how many times they've done this in the last 40 years? i just listed their standard operating procedure
Michael Hall
He's been in the NY real estate game for decades, if anything this is old hand to a guy who's spent his entire life out negotiating kikes and mob wops.
