Yep. I remember when that Korea flight skidded off the runway die to a pilot error the Korean cultural subservience shit came to the surface. Flight crew straight up refused to cooperate with aviation safety officials when it came the the investigation. They had to get a written statement from the airline guaranteeing that they wouldn't face repercussion. They're actually more concerned with losing face than losing their freedom due to contempt of court!
My dad had extreme predjuces towards fat people. When my uncle got fat (his borther) and we had some familiy event my dad always cracked jokes on his weight. There were only three things he hated the most. Fat people, gypsies and homos. I remember how he bought bottle of vodka to some random hobo. He loved hobos and thought they need help because my dad is deep catholic. When i remember his jokes about fat people i always end up smiling. Good man indeed wish he wasnt drinking tho.
