Yesterday it came out that Cohen didn't even want to testify. His attorney Lanny Davis, a personal friend and former attorney for the Clintons, had pressured him into testifying to Congress. Today Lanny Davis makes a ridiculous claim about threats from Trump, made in public, that no one else understood as a threat.

Incidentally, all the outlandish claims about Cohen doing crimes at the direction of Trump and Cohen pleading guilty (not a plea bargain) to things that most legal experts do not believe constitutes a crime (citing the John Edwards trial as precedent). One does wonder whether Lanny Davis is acting in his client's best interests as required by every bar association in America.

Many are saying Trump should be charged with obstruction and intimidation due to his tweet referencing Cohen's father in law.
They don't realize he funded Cohen's taxi business, was in notes during the FBI raid of Cohen's home, and has a criminal record of tax fraud.
This is more deep shit for Cohen than those on the Left think.

They're upset because it delays the impeachment process. The Democrats planned to do two full months of hearings insinuating Orange Man bad before filing the articles in mid April. They need to start with Cohen committing perjury so they have a clear pretense to move on to the next witness, Junior.
