The Council of Europe has named Britain in a resolution highlighting how sharia law conflicts with universal human rights. A measure adopted by the 47-nation body, which oversees the European Convention on Human Rights, raises concerns about the role of sharia councils in family matters. It also said it was 'greatly concerned' that sharia is applied either officially or unofficially in member states. According to The Law Society Gazette, the resolution said that in Britain 'sharia councils attempt to provide a form of alternative dispute resolution, whereby members of the Muslim community, sometimes voluntarily, often under considerable social pressure, accept their religious jurisdiction mainly in marital and Islamic divorce issues, but also in matters relating to inheritance and Islamic commercial contracts.'

I work in a UK family law firm and this shit is literal fake news. Judicial activism is massively against shariafaggotry and the recent headline 'recognition of sharia law' is in actual fact, judges are just saying Muslim men who try to avoid maintenance by not having a marriage effective under UK law can get fucked and have to pay their spouse off like non-Muslims.
The EU is just just pushing this bullshit while per capita the city of Brussels where it is based has five times as many terrorists as here.
