>stone is arrested >charges are unexpected, not personal finance related, could be facing serious time >trump ends shutdown hours later >is it possible these two situations are related?
Have not had much time to look into it. Can any infomed anons shed some light on the situation?
These happen to be the precise areas that Stone is now alleged to have lied to the committee about. As the Democrats on the committee argued in a brutal counter-report released around the same time, the Republicans basically took Stone’s word for it (as well as those of other witnesses). Indeed, here is what the GOP report said about Stone:
Despite [multiple contacts with Russia proxies], the Committee did not find any evidence contradicting Stone’s claim that “(a)ny information … disseminated via social media regarding the timing of the release of the DNC data or others was from publicly available sources” and “he in no way conspired, colluded, or coordinated with any agent of the Russian state.” Through its meticulous chronicling of Stone’s apparent falsehoods, Robert Mueller’s latest indictment also offered definitive proof of what the Democrats on that committee argued for months: That the Republican investigation purportedly exonerating Trump’s campaign of collusion was a whitewash.
sometimes i forget that normies don't know Seth Rich delivered those emails to Wikileaks and was murdered by top level prog apparatchiks like john podesta. these next couple of years are going to be sweet.
Its pretty obvious drumpf undid the shutdown today to detract attention from his Russia scandal.
He colluded. Mueller is coming. Sorry lil donnie boys. Hes finished

Everyone was curious what waikikileaks had and Assange kept teasing info which caused rampant speculation, then everyone was bitching every time he didn't deliver. Nothing has been proven in the alleged 'collusion' stories, just Muler fiddling with dates of tweets and charging/prosecuting people on unrelated matters until they 'relate' them. This is all about setting Trump up for an impeachable offense.
Yep, and incredibly with the same people, banks and organizations that John McCain colluded with in the 2007 election. Thank God Fusion GPS is such a top notch investigatory powerhouse. Lookout 2020, there's a FISA warrant with ________'s name on it.

Thanks for the clarification user. I do not know which is potentially more disturbing, that the Trump campaign may have colluded, or that wikileaks has been a complete farce. Scary times.
TLDR they lied about doing something legal to the fbi and that’s illegal
Jordan Collins
Actually, I thought waikikileaks was set up, that our own IC was feeding them with O's full knowledge (Hillary and Podesta were O's enemies) and 'Justice' had everything in place to later take Trump down (the illegal FISA taps). What was colossally stupid was Jr. having anything to do with anything that even smelled Russian near the end of the campaign, that and the real-estate venture... This stupidity isn't 'collusion', just a lack of foresight.
Noah Williams
I agree in that stupidity, as opposed to strategy, likely had much to do with it. But the wikileaks aspect, considering how fucked all of their accounts seem to be currently, raises many questions. One can only speculate as to he level of Julian's involvement in the fuckery (unity4j is an obvious scam).
With CNN being the only news organization on the scene as the FBI arrested former Trump campaign advisor Roger Stone, many have been wondering how they knew to be at his house.
Speaking with CNN’s John Berman and Alisyn Camerota, CNN producer David Shortell said he had a gut instinct to go to Stone’s residence after noticing unusual grand jury activity in Washington, D.C. on Thursday.
“The whole Russia team thought, maybe something was happening. There was unusual grand jury activity in Washington, D.C. yesterday. Robert Mueller’s grand jury typically meets on Friday, yesterday, a Thursday, there was grand jury activity,” Shortell said.
“We also had some other signs that maybe something was going on this angle, the Roger Stone angle. So we showed up at his house this morning, we were the only ones there, and lo and behold the FBI agents did come and arrest him,” he added.
Competitive cable news outlets have suggested something nefarious, as though the Mueller office (known for never leaking) was somehow in cahoots with CNN. The far more likely explanation is that Shortell simply did his job: old school gumshoe reporting.
I can't be assed to keep up with this useless bullshit anymore. They just circlejerk day in, day out. I just want Trump doing something, not some nobody related to Trump doing something. Proof: is it that fucking hard?
Kevin Price
Completely agree. Apparently it is more difficult than we know?
