Voting machines are a terrible idea. Imagine, instead of filling out a ballot and putting it in the ballot box, you hand your ballot to a guy behind a curtain, tell him how you want to vote, and trust the guy blindly to fill your ballot the way you want. Who would trust a system like that? Fucking no one, but that's essentially what voting machines are.
