How well has Christianity worked out? All the Crusades except the first one were complete failures and did more to make Europe vulnerable to sand nigger invasion. The Reconquista was mostly won by 1085 a decade before the first Crusade, Sicily was in European hands again, etc. Europeans were winning because they rebuilt their civilization and had better soldiers and military tech compared to the Semitic Arabs. The First Crusade targeted Jerusalem which was in Arabic hands not Turkish hands.
