This thread is for those of us that recognize that it is really, truly a good thing that happened. Here's your QRD. >three weeks of funding for gov >increased funding for stronger border >both sides actually reached a mature and working compromise
Both sides got a bit of what they wanted, yet we're going to see endless threads making outrageous partisan claims, most of them from memeflags. Where are the bi-partisans, the moderates, the people that ACTUALLY care about the general welfare and WANT to see a United States made whole again?
Leftists will say this thread is damage control. Rightists may call me a cuck.
But if you're at all like me, and you consider things objectively (you know who you are, those that don't have NO idea) then you'll see this as a good thing for everyone.
Maybe this thread will quickly fade into obscurity, I don't care. But if you're an American and you're feeling like your "side" is all that matters, you are not my countryman. *mic drop*
The only way America can be made whole again is to stop illegals from coming in and deporting them all you retarded boom faggot.

I made this thread yesterday; if you were there, welcome back. >Oh shit, is that some proper use of the SEMI-COLON?

>boomer memes Found the millenial, please transition quickly so you can get around to the suicide already.
Compromise is a function of healthy governance, and nothing really changed aside from a three week reprieve. In February we could very well be right back where we were yesterday.
Levi Miller
No (You)s for meme flags, btw. Also one-posters are considered on probation unless it's an actual post.

To defeatists on the Right. (or shills posing)
The shutdown is over for now. In return we have enhanced funding for border security, some of which is being put toward fortifications. Just because it's not the eighty-foot fortress wall that Jow Forums self-deluded itself into wanting doesn't mean a stronger wall is out of reach.
To the celebrates Left; the shutdown is over, and there wasn't the massive increase exclusively earmarked for the "wall". But again, see above, also note this shutdown is temporary.
To both sides, emergency executive powers are still very much on the table, and the 9th circuit court just doesn't have the pull to interfere if it comes down to it.
Anything of note to post? Any additions, rebuttals, or counterpoints? No?

>increased border funding Are you fucking serious? You mean what they had originally offered him in December? That wasn't what Trump demanded. That wasn't why he shutdown the gov you retard. He demanded a wall. He shut down the gov to get his fucking wall. It was shutdown for 30+ days with him bitching about "I NOT OPEN THE GOV UNTIL I GET MY WALL". Then he CAVES and opens the gov. He fucking lost idiot. You need to learn to COPE better.
Make me. :v And what exactly is wrong with hating the no-middle fringe politics that is making us weaker? You're right, confirmed for literate.

>*mic drop* Except you picked it up again so you can make the same thread again, despite the fact that most of your bullshit was debunked in the last thread. Stop being an attention whore and stop posting the same shit over and over again.

Nothing thing's wrong with it if you're fin with democrats transforming voter democraphics into one for a socialist hispanic state.

Trump literally got nothing he wanted. It took him 35 days to negotiate a deal he could have had on day 1, and he lost about 5 million votes in the process
Leo Walker
>debunked We both have access to the prior thread, so go ahead and reference the point were a refutation was made, and what specifically was refuted. If you can I'll fall in perfect lockstep with the ideology of your choice. :^) They're less capable of it now than they were 24 hours ago.

>35 Wrong. >had on day one optimistic, but also wrong >5 million votes How could anybody possibly measure this?

America will still be a hellscape in 20 years if a wall isn't built and millions of illegals aren't deported like in operation wetback. You centrist fags like Eisenhower right? Well he fully understood the necessity to keep illegals out for a functional nation.
We can still get all of that. The term is not over.
Robert Young
Take a look at the catalog. Tell me you're happy with what you see.

The only anons who drop the mic are those with nothing interesting to follow up with. Hold onto your mic OP, you may need it in the future.

>gov open for 3 weeks >if dems negotiate, trump gets his wall funding >if dems dont negotiate, shutdown intiates again and dems get blamed for not negotiating
I deliberately place it to draw out the faggots. It's funny to note the little things a person will latch onto in their effort to avoid any sort of meaningful discussion.
I also deliberately apply "Reddit spacing" just to piss people off.
