This is true but can be easily blocked by preventing web scraping as a host. Or do you want to write a new scraping tool for a particular website every time this happens? You also as a scraper do not have access to private posts which again means the tool is fairly limited. People also auto upgrade their browsers weekly which means the database would have several duplicate entries which would lead to flooding and eventually every IDed match would start to be less trustworthy to the investigator unless this person wants to chase different innocent people across the globe.
