>Family history of alcoholism >Been drinking almost every day recently and have been craving beer in work >Developing a tolerance, where alcohol that would have gotten me smashed only a few months ago only gets me steamed now
When should I start worrying?
Grayson Myers
Now, just stop drinking

personally i think they should introduce a law into scotland forbidding any guy from wearing skinny jeans with the arse hanging out the top cos these days when i go out on the pull i cant tell the guys from the birds and thats resulted in some violent morning after experiences let me tell you
Ayden Johnson
unironically now You're not a full alcoholic yet but you're certainly on track to becoming one. Join AA, speak to your GP, seek help now whilst it's (relatively) easier to quit and before you've done your body real damage. Count yourself lucky you're nipping it in the bud like this, people lose their health, homes, relationships and livelihoods over this.

can attest to this. i know a person who had everything. a family, house, good reputation as a lawyer and a soul-mate. started drinking into oblivion, divorced, about to get evicted.
Ghosted me already, should I wait until tomorrow or clarify that I misunderstood her question? (Last thing I said was name of my accommodation but I think she was just asking what I was up to). It’s been 30 minutes.
Dude don’t ask /pol for advice with women some broad just canceled on me 2 hours before a date Jesus fuck I need out of here I’m starting to sympathize with Eliot Rodger
I feel like I can't stop. I'm drinking right now. But I only see my mates once every two weeks at this rate. Alcohol is the only thing that makes me feel genuinely happy lately. I can't stop now. Maybe in future I will.
>I feel like I can't stop. yeah, that's why you need to get help. You've managed to cut out the "big shock to the system which forces you to evaluate your addiction" stage and realised you have a problem now, which is great, but you have to act on it and make someone irl aware who can actually help you.
The urges really just creeped up on me, man. It morphed from "I'd like a beer with a mate later on" to "Jesus, I can't wait to have that first sip of a pint of IPA later on"
My uncle who was an alcoholic for 25 years and is now recovered for over six years lives outside my back in a cabin, so maybe I should ask him for advice and support.
