I don't believe it is inevitable. It is only inevitable if said mass is conditioned to believe they shouldn't have any reason to be ready for deadly cold. There are many options, Space stations are one, maybe a bit costly but worth it if it means saving humanity. Too bad it is something the elite are stead fast against.
Another is simply just being ready to live in cold for years/decades. We have the technology to grow food indoors but if we don't implement it in time, there will be famine.
This is why it's crucial to understand what is coming for survival, but as I said, I don't believe the elite want many to survive. Just look at the Georgia Guide Stones.

I don't think you understand how bad this can be. A sudden massive pole shift could cause mile high tidal waves. Everything will get destroyed.
The amount on people that can be saved on space stations or mountain tops is nothing compared to the population.
What do you think will happen if you tell 99.999% of the people that they will die? You think they'll just let a few billionaires blast off to space stations?

Best case scenario.
Worst case it does have an effect on how the sun impacts Earth, which could cause a change in how physical rays and other particles impact Earth, then creating a response in the crust, potentially causing Volcanic eruptions etc. Which would lead to cooling.

Maybe what I said is an extreme, but there is evidence that Pole shifts do have an impact on the climate.

Yes, well if you believe what Martin Armstrong has been saying and the results that his computer has given him, most cycles converge on or about 2032. We have about a decade to get our shit together. I found it interesting because recently AOC said the world would end in 12 years.. oddly close to that 2032 mark Armstrong has been preaching. What do (((they))) know?
