MFW they rule out no deal (effectively making remain the default position), pass the vote to renegotiate backstop, fail negotiations, fail to pass May's deal and we remain in the EU with no referendum.

I'm both black pilled and generally optimistic for the future. Unlike most others here I understand just how much English identity has changed the past thousand years.
The soldiers at Azincourt spoke an entirely different language to us.
The Elizabethans were born and raised loyal Catholics but became fervent protestants. We are now largely atheist and secular.
The emotional Restoration Era fop was a different breed of English gentleman compared to the repressed, stiff upper lip Victorian patriarch.
We've had French kings, a Dutch king, and German monarchs for almost a millennia now, but did they not bring greatness to England?
Yes, we are now small, relatively poor (compared to other first world countries), but were we not on the eve of our greatness?
Our governments are indeed imposing increasingly harsh restrictions upon our liberties, but we fought for the Magna Carta in the first place and repealed the Gag Acts.
Yes, it's a shame that our population has been diluted by pakis and darkies, and that the vast majority of people can't recite a single poem, or that English school kids no longer learn about Captain Cook.
But remember this, before the industrial Revolution Britain had a population of 10 million. We (the native children) are now 50 million. If a even a tiny percent of the population can recite Donne, can retain pride in Marlborough, and can name a single battle of the Civil War, then English identity is still strong amongst many.
Still, it's going to get worse before it gets better.
The only major problem I think will be damn near impossible to fix is the horrific blight of awful architecture and hideous housing that destroying our souls.

Camden Jones
Don't panic. That amendment just says the house rejects the idea of leaving without a deal, it doesn't stop it doing so.
Evan Campbell
UK just gtfo. You got senpai over here that loves you. EU needs you, not the other way around.

No we still leave with No Deal on March 29th.
It's non binding
Jack Flores
This, the motion to delay was defeated, so this is just them saying they don't want a no deal. If there's no deal struck before 3-29, they can't stop no deal
Juan Russell
Rain and clouds all the time. Not worth it IMO.
Mason Richardson
thank fuck (for once) that May doesn't give a shit
Dominic Flores
Anyone who actually thought no deal would be good for the country is a complete fucking brainlet and should an hero ASAP.

what even is the point of a non binding amendment, why even propose it
Leo Bell
That vote just cucked May's negotiating position by the way.
Cameron Rivera
nobody wants no deal but it should be the default because you can't negotiate if you're not willing the walk away
Literally BABBY-tier negotiation
Matthew Walker
That's not what the amendment says. It says the house rejects the idea of leaving without a deal. The only way to block leaving without a deal would be an amendment that delays leaving until one is reached, and there's no way anything like that would pass. The public want this over with. That's why the Cooper amendment failed.
