Firstly she wouldnt survive the Democrat primaries. Its not like her district as she'd actually have to debate smarter people live on TV.

Lets say she did win the primaries she would then have to face a Republican. 60% of Democrats want their party to stay near the centre. Only 40% want it to go further left. She would loose more than half her party.
