alright christcucks riddle me this,
If God has power over everything in the world - how can there be terrible and evil things? Either he is not that powerful, or he is not so good. Black or white.
The theodicy problem

every evil thing is balanced by things that make us laugh
for instance he made a retard like you
now thats funny
Free will
Lemme ask you a questen instead answering. How can some be so important for god that he would chang the world?
Duality is necessary to properly understand a thing. Suffering is necessary for growth. Without the occasional storm, how could you ever truly appeciate a sunny day?
Also, reminder that agnosticism is the only intellectual position
Free will and that this world is a punishment for us.

>how can there be terrible and evil things?
Define "terrible and evil". Generally, if bad things happen to you, it's a result of your own poor decisions.
Get mugged? Should have learned how to fight.
Get terrible illness? Should have lived healthier.
No gf? Grow up and stop being autistic.
Country overrun by shitskins? Shouldn't have left Christianity for secular social democracy.
Basically: Don't do the crime if you can't do the time.
Also, what feels terrible to you may not be terrible in reality. If we postulate God exists, then the death of a virtuous person, for example, isn't that bad because he or she will go to heaven.
You probably thought it was evil of your parents to send you to school and forbid you from eating candy for lunch, but in reality, there was a good reason for these decisions.
>genocides the world for the most improbably magical boat cruise
how can anyone take Christianity seriously, they actually believe this shit was real
>Define "terrible and evil".
being German pretty much sums up the definition of terrible and evil.
This should probably be the new dictionary definition.
>butthurt
Since you're not German, why are you complaining little boy?
im not complaining you spawn of satan, just stating a fact.
>Thor is a crossdresser
>Odin is a cumdrinker
>Wolfs chase moon/sun
>a giant snake holds the world together
how can anyone take paganism seriously, they actually believe this shit was real
Evil serves as an example of what we should never become. If you never saw or even heard of stealing, how would you know what stealing is? Of course, the point was for humans to never know what stealing is, but then again humanity is retarded.
FPBP
The maker gathered all data he needed, and put the petri-dish in which we reside in a shell or a garbage can. Hes out conducting new more awesome experiments, most likely he forgot all about us.
It's simple.
If there is even a chance that God could have sufficient moral reasons for allowing evil to exist, then there is no problem.
>protip, it's not only possible, but probable
this
but hell, I'll make a post anyway
1) What is "terrible and evil"? Is killing to save a loved one evil? By what measure is something terrible? scraping a knee? being rejected by a woman? To a pampered child, not having your favourite toy is an absolute tragedy, while a soldier raised in a hellhole whistles tunes on his way to the battlefield. What difference is a papercut to a murder when it is all the subjective experience a temporary stopover in an otherwise eternal existence? Do you care much for the pain of a papercut when your finger has healed? Why then would you care for the pain of your life once your soul finds eternity? Or better yet, when you grow the balls to shoulder suffering for the sake of your own development. It is all so infinitely small in the grand scheme of things.
2) Why does it make God evil to allow it? If you had a child, would you let them outside to play, knowing full well that they'll scrape their knees, bump their heads, and get sick? Are you an evil parent if you let any of these things happen to your child? Of course not. How else does your child learn to grow? How else do they learn to pick themselves up? If they want to become free adults, then they have to learn how to deal with the consequences of their freedom.
3) Suffering is the only natural consequence to freedom. If there is no light in the world, then there is no darkness, since one has to exist for the other to be conceptualised as its counterpart. A gluttonous man will know the joy of a crumb of bread if he is hungry enough. If you never got cold, you would never know what it is to be warm. Things that are unpleasant to your subjective human senses exist because it is natural that they would exist, otherwise you wouldn't even know what "good" is. If you never knew good and evil, you wouldn't be a human.
see for proof of this
all religions document a global flood happening in history to the point where there isn't a single event in history that can be said to be more credible on account of having had confirmation from more sources and there is a massive amount of scientific data to support it including most of the earth's water being underground and biodegradable materials spanning supposed million year gaps in the "fossil record" thereby disproving the gorillion year age of the earth toted by atheists as the basis of all anti-christian scientific theory.
Couple that with the Biblical prophecy of the Synagogue of Satan being "those who call themselves jews but are not" referring to the religion of Judaism (jews are a race, not a religion) being deniers of Jesus Christ as the Son of God and worshipping in Synagogues and you have science, history, and religion all offering hard evidence against you for the validity of the events told in the Bible
Good question.
If God is all-powerful, he killed 230,000 people in the Indian Ocean Tsunami of 2004 in one fell swoop, since he created the shifting tectonic plates that caused the earthquake that prompted the tsunami to wipe those poor unfortunate people out. For what? Shits and giggles?
Most of the earth's water is in the ocean ya tard
>how can there be terrible and evil things?
freewill, God can't interfere with your CHOICES! if He did, you'd be a robot!
It is not up to God to stop evil, It is up to him to judge them when they die. And it is up to us to send em to God.
God didn't create evil, evil is a lack of good that humans commit because we have free will. It's our job to rid the world of this evil.
Free will cannot be the choice between good and evil because evil has no ontological being (according to Christian theology). Free will can only be a choice between various goods. This is a contradiction of christianity
Don’t be a newfag Atheist or a Jesus ninja. Morality can be achieved with some logic and consensus. Yes, ppl should be accountable for some crimes
That isn't free will. In Christianity, will is a property of nature (essence), and God created human nature with only the will to good. The theology is contradictory.
>doesn't know that everything is possible with god
>doesn't understand that everything includes the impossible
>thinks god cares about his super smart paradox
Heh. Shiggidy diggidy doooo
Good and evil aren't real. It's a categorization that exists only in the minds of man. God simply recognized that and used it to get points across.
>I believe erotica fanfic written by a Jewish homosexual
What is with Christcucks believing anything a Jew tells them?
>says the guy posting a picture of one of the most renown satanist on planet earth
The irony is thicc. That said who gives a shit about marvel comics.
Listen to what the bible has to say to this
Read the book Job
Also dont put god to the test.
Yes, goyim, you should discuss my poorly made LARP trying to make sense of my bullshit.
Because god is a gigantic faggot who married his daughter and then called her a whore when she left him.
If you marry your daughter and she leaves you, shes not a whore- you're a fucked up father.
Now worship Satan.
>No true Scotsman
Christianity is Neo-Judaism. Judaism has always been a Satanic boy raping cult, just like Christianity and Islam.
>saying you're a christian makes you a christian
Nah dude. The requirement has always been and always will be belief in Jesus christ. Go read a book you look ready for the leaf blower.
