No because take formalized steps to mitigate the impact. They do things like 'create new business group' which allows them to track the expense of this 'marketing' campaign down to the penny with business development in minority growth markets. They also don't hire a signficant portion of them, unlike what they advertise, so it's money well spent for marketing purposes. They use them as billboards for diversity which causes minorities to gravitate towards their product lines and services. I'll give you a simple example. Say, your internal business data shows that minority owned businesses compromise $1billion dollars of your partially advert market and you have no share of it. So, you hire some minorities at $85k a head x 4 and you project that by 'making them the face of the company', it will open you up to $10 million of that market. Huge ROI. And once you get enough marketing material printed with their faces, you fire them. None of this shit is meant to help minorities. DESU, it often hurts well qualified minorities because the company treats them like a marketing drone instead of a contributing employee. Seriously, does no one on /pol know how this shit internally works? Why do you think these companies even fight the fed on providing employment data ... They're like 0.5% of the company but they make it seem like they are 30% and growing. It's all lies
