My opposition in not based on some sort of moral objection to Taxation. It's that it wouldn't work. If he seized 100% of all billionaires' fortunes, he would get a bit over $2.7 trillion. Which isn't even enough to take a meaningful chunk out of the debt, let alone pay for new programs

Also did you know that Bernie Sanders killed the Audit the Fed Act which would have effectively ended the US war machine as the Army and CIA would be accountable to congress for any money secretly appropriated from the Fed? It was Ron Paul's life dream and one I strongly agreed with (I would have supported Hillary if she ran with it, it was that objectively good and moral)and Bernie killed it, renamed it the sunshine act and stripped out all powers of congress to audit anything beyond the TARP bailouts.
