I experience this sensation, but from sensory stimulation and related memories.
Certain songs, depending on composition or memory triggers, as well as certain shows the relate to periods of my life, smells too, if they particularly strong. Lots of electronic music prompt this sensation, especially early futurebass like San Holo, and Mauro Picotto's shit always makes my skin crawl pleasantly.
Most of my most life changing spiritual experiences have almost always been accompanied by this sensation.
Those ASMR videos, though, mostly make me cringe. I'm not particularly squeamish, but I discovered today that I do not like listening to people chewing. I tried to watch a honeycomb eating one, and I couldn't get past like 20 seconds, it was repulsive. The others with like plastic and rubber sounds are whatever, but I just don't think I can tolerate watching/listening to people eating for very long.

It's nice to listen to, in all honesty, but it's really just another form of thottery.
